Two big families

We had a great time at this mountainside cabin. This is our second time staying here and it works great for our group. It has so much space for everyone. The cabin is stocked with everything you will need besides food. Just come and enjoy!

Great cabin with room for all, had great weather and skiing was wonderful. The cabin is set back from the trail so be ready to walk to get home. Easy to ski out down to Navajo lift to get started. Cabin was well stocked with the items you will need during your stay. We spent the week and had no issues, Gwen was easy to get a hold of if needed before, during and after our stay. Look forward to next year.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. So glad you enjoyed the cabin and had a great time. Sorry you were not able to find the return ski trail. It is the same trail you went out on right next to the house. We have a map in the house booklet or please feel free to give us a call next time and we would be happy to assist you. Until you're familiar with it, it is easy to miss some turns.

NEW YEARS SKI TRIP

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been happier with our stay at this beautiful cabin. We had two families of 6 and 7 and had plenty of room. The two master suites upstairs were great for the adult couples and the basement was perfect for the kids. There was great access to the mountain and we had such a wonderful time. Thank you

We had the best time and have already booked for 2015!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We love this place!!! Close to everything and "ski in and ski out" which allowed us to come home and enjoy lunch at this beautiful cabin. Very well equipped with lots of amenities. Little kids just learning to ski, will not be able to ski in and ski out, but its a very fast and easy drive to Navajo Lodge. Lots of room, for next year there will be a total of 14...7 adults and 7 kids, which will be a perfect amount. Love the big dining room table that everyone can converge around (that's what sold me). Also the downstairs TV room and 3 generous bedrooms and 1 bathroom is perfect for stuffing all the kids away from the adults...just kidding!!!! Great wireless internet strength throughout the house. Can't wait for 2015!!!

We had a great time at this house!! We had 3 families, each bedroom has it's own bathroom do perfect for the parents! The kids had the run of the downstairs!!' The dining room table was long enough for all of us to eat dinner together and play games. Location was superb. We will definitely come here again!!!

Great Cabin!

  • 4 of 5

This cabin is huge! we had way more room than we needed... but we were concerned about having too many people in close quarters. We had 6 adults and 3 kids.. we could've easily had another family with a few more kids stay there and still been totally comfortable. house was stocked with plenty of dishes and appliances... I couldn't find a hair dryer however, so make sure you take one with you... the ski in/ski out was really tricky. we had very experienced snow boarders (no skiers) and getting out was a short hike to the slope, but the ski in back to the cabin was a lot of work. My husband thought for skiers with poles this wouldn't be as bad, but for snowboarding, we ended up taking off our boards and hiking for a couple blocks to get back... not bad, but definitely a little tricky. beautiful neighborhood and great location though... the cabin is directly above the tube park on the Navajo slopes.. which makes getting to any of the runs really easy.

Owner's Response: Thank you for review. Glad you enjoyed the house. Sorry for any difficulty you had skiing in or out. We do have a house book with a map and instructions. We have since added signs in our yard for ski out. As long as there is adequate snow, it should be an easy downhill to the lift. To come back in, the trails need to be followed. It will lead right back to where you started. We suggest calling us if you have any problems. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark the trail behind the houses. We want to add a video to make it more clear. Also, sometimes right after a big snowstorm, the trail has not been groomed which makes it harder for snow boarders to return. We do have one hairdryer at the house. It's kept under the master bathroom's sink but I'm sure gets moved around. Thank you for letting us know. I will make a note to add more hairdryers to the inventory.
