LOVELY GARDEN STUDIO WITH EASY ACCESS TO ALL SF ATTRACTIONS

This studio is decorated so well and such a delightful to return to for relaxing after a long day. Kate makes sure your stay is comfortable and very helpful with travel tips. The neighborhood is so nice and convenient to the sights of the city. The apartment has a large comfortable sectional, great bed and full kitchen. Large shower in bathroom. Very reasonable. You will be thrilled with this place!

This is a VERY clean rental and the location is excellent. Kate, the owner, was easy to work with and we appreciated her ability to secure our short-notice reservation even though she was going to be out of town. The rental is on the small side, however, it is well-laid out and perfect for 2-3 people. It is decorated very nicely and has nice light coming through the windows where you can view birds in the trees and bushes outside. It looks down on a beautiful and private back patio (which we didn't use but it looked to be very nice). The kitchen is a good sized with a full refrigerator and stove which made it easy for cooking our meals. It does not have a coffee grinder which was difficult since we had brought coffee beans but fortunately we were able to borrow our daughters while we were there (we did, however, get a delicious cup of coffee the first morning at Blue Bottle Coffee which was not too far away). The rental does not have any spices (other than salt & pepper) so it would be a good idea to bring what you need while you are there. Also, there wasn't any bar soap or shower gel (there was liquid hand soap on the sink) so we did have to go out and buy some so we would recommend bringing your own soap for the shower. Parking was easy to find in front of the rental on the short street except for on Saturday night but we were able to park down on a different street not too far away so it really wasn't a problem (it is by far the best parking situation we have ever had when staying in San Francisco!). The rental was cold when we arrived on Friday night (which other people have commented about) but the electric fireplace works wonders and heated up the rental quite nicely. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we would definintely stay at this rental again!

Kate was a very welcoming host and said I could call her anytime! However, I wish some more info was provided right at the beginning so that I wouldn't have to call her so much with questions. I also wish we have two sets of keys - it would have been helpful.
Overall a nice place, VERY clean, cozy, well decorated studio.

Pros:
- supermarket a few min walk away
- number 31 and 5 buses are very close and comes frequently
- walkable to the golden gate park if you are a walker!
- washer and dryer - which were life savers since we packed light and had a baby!
- very comfortable main bed (slept there w my baby and slept very very well. I want the same bed for my home!)

Cons:
- sofa bed was uncomfortable - my husband ended up sleeping on the floor instead since we didn't all fit into the main bed with the baby
- very cold - but it's not Kate's fault, it's a first floor apartment and SF in general was colder than I thought. Electric heater was available for use.
- wi fi was a little spotty - we got good wifi at one corner of the apartment only. Had to go to nearby starbucks (just a few min away) for better internet for work stuff.]
- no windows in the kitchen

I would stay here again if I am coming alone or with my baby, but not as a whole family since the sofa bed was not very comfortable.

PS If you enjoy great food, try walking to the Asian restaurants on Clement Street in Inner Richmond. We had amazing dim sum there (and my husband is chinese) and the Burmese restaurant is supposed to be great too. A taxi driver told us about the clement street, and we loved it.
