Snuggle Bug is fairly new, extremely well maintained, and fully stocked. You need only to bring yourselves, your clothes, a fine book to read and your food and drinks. The rest is there for you to enjoy to the fullest.
You may want to buy your groceries on the way because one you get there, it's hard to leave!
Snuggle Bug is only 11 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, which is a short and lovely drive.
CLOSE BY THINGS TO DO: 5 miles from the cabin is the Greenbriar entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Forest known for its wildflowers, butterflies, cascading waterfalls, driving and hiking trails and fishing. About 7 miles from Snuggle Bug is the 8 mile artists loop trail full of shops, galleries, studios, restaurants, candy shops and cafes where local artisans show their craftsmanship.

In July 2011, we updated the entertainment area to add a flat screen HDTV, Blue Ray DVD player (there's also a regular DVD player, CD player), and an iLive sound system with an iPod dock for your own music.
We visit our second home at the top of Webb Mountain frequently and, each visit, we try to do something to add a little special touch to our cabin.

We have been going to this area over 25 years and have visited many, many cabins in the surrounding areas. Webb Mountain is close to Mount Le Conte and just driving Webb Mountain is a beautiful adventure in itself.
Walking the mountain is great but will surely get your heart pumping. We like to use walking sticks and take a bottle of water and your camera. There is abundant wildlife on the mountain; deer, wild turkeys, racoons, and this year (2011) a mamma bear and 4 cubs (we think 2 cubs are orphaned).
