5 Star Riverfront Home on New River in NC Blue Ridge Mtns

My husband and I decided to take a last minute vacation over the recent 4th of July holiday weekend. Lucky for us, the New River house was available during that time! We had a wonderful time! A little piece of heaven was this great house on this gorgeous large piece of property. The flowers and the landscapte were gorgeous, and the house had all the comforts of home(and the sleeping porch was great!) No matter the time of day, there was always a cool breeze that blew thru the porch, which also had a peaceful/relaxing creek that ran underneath, creating a very peaceful setting for just laying on the swing and reading or hanging out in the rocking chairs just talking and enjoying the fantastic view of the river and the many canoes and kayaks that were constanting paddling down stream. When we wanted to enjoy the sun, we would use the uncovered large deck on the front of the house, which also shared the great view of the river. Our stay was very relaxing, as well as active since there was plenty of outdoor activities nearby to keep us busy :-) Great house, great view, and lots to do! Can't wait to visit again in the fall - I'm sure the fall foliage will be just gorgeous!
