Island Retreat and Personalized Adventure Package for 2.

The Log Cabin is on a 4 acre Sitka Island, located 10 minutes from town, overlooking the pacific ocean with magnificent unobstructed wilderness views. Watch the sea otters, eagles, sealions, seals and whales from the deck as the surf rolls in and the sun sets over Mt Edgecumbe.

The Island is offer as a week long packaged itinerary.

The Package includes accomodation in the fully equiped cabin,(stocked with breakfast food) plus airport/ferry transfers. Also included are 4 full gourmet evening meals including fresh Alaska Seafood, one guided day hike, Sitka Harbor and Island orientation cruise, one full day individualized boating adventure,with lunch, to see wildlife (which often include whales/sea otters/marinelife/ birds/bears), a personalized Sitka town and Island road tour, plus up to 8 seperate complimentary water transports to or from Sitka and the Island

Extra guided kayak and fishing trips can be arranged but are not included in the package price of $2,850 per person/week

This is a magnificent place for a week long retreat or romantic get away.

Inside the cabin is brand new, tastefully decorated in Alaskan style, with a large fully equipped kitchen, high picture windows, one double bed, and one bathroom . The wrap around deck is equiped with a barbecue and has stunning viewsRomantic Hideaway: This cabin is in a magical spot, ideal for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. No TV, lots of books, herb garden at the back door and that magnificent view.

Adventure Holiday.: If you like hiking, kayaking, fishing, whale and/or bird watching then this is the perfect getaway location.

Explore Sitka: Sitka is the old Russian Capital of Alaska and has a vast and interesting history, both Native and European.

The owners of the property live in another house on the other side of the Island.

We had an amazing time on Beardslee Island. The cabin was clean and cozy with incredible views of the surrounding islands. We had a sea otter that resided in the water near the cabin, a whale in the distance, and lots of eagles to watch. The accommodations provided ample comfort for reading on rainy days and great opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and fishing when wanting to be adventuresome. The hosts Charlie and Lynda are warm and friendly. You'll even get a champagne and bottle rocket welcome.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
