Welcome to the beautiful Sonshine Cabin, Conveniently located to hwy 421 Close to Madison ,Versailles and Friendship. The cabin is located on 15 ac and offers peace and quite to its visitors. The cabin has a fully furnished Kitchen and a gas grill. Cabin has 1800 sq ft of living space with 3 private bedrooms all with Queen beds, 1 full bath upstairs with the bedrooms and 1 half bath on the main level. The main level Has a great room with fire place, Dining room with table for 6, Kitchen. There is a Huge front porch with seating to watch the wildlife! It is a short walk to a beautiful creek to offer hours of fun for everyone.

Wonderful place for family time together

While surfing the internet for a cabin for the children and grandchildren to all stay together to celebrate "Grampy;s" 60th birthday, I stumbled upon the Sonshine Cabin. It was the perfect place to all be together nestled in the beautiful woods and near the darling downtown area of Madison, IN. We had a wonderful time together. We were blessed with several inches of snow which was lots of fun to hike in and we all had fun builiding a snowman together with the grandchildren. Our three year old grandson asked his parents on their drive back to home when they could go back to that cute cabin again. :) The cabin has a wonderful homey atmospher and is stocked with everything you would need and is absoloutely the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. We created some great memories.

nice and cozy!

The owners were very pleasant! Their place is nicely kept and are very generous with the toiletries and ameneties. They even had a game board cabinet! very nice location; it took us about 20 minutes to get to downtown.

Definitely would recommend!

We were Blessed by the Son Shine Cabin!

When we pulled into the driveway, my husband said I had chosen well when I booked this cabin for a week long getaway with friends!
The setting is perfect! The colors in the trees were amazing! Inside the cabin we felt at home immediately. Iretta and Jack were there to welcome us, and we settled in for a perfect week.
This cabin is clean and nicely furnished. The beds were covered with beautiful quilts and the mattresses were very comfortable.
We visited the Creation Museum (a little less than an hour away near Cincinnati). We highly recommend the museum! We also enjoyed visiting Clifty Falls State Park as well as Versailles State Park, both only about 15 minutes away from the cabin!

I was a little sceptical of all the reviews always being so positive on Homeaway, but this place truly is a find. It's gorgeous and the pictures do NOT do it justice. You won't see anyone else except maybe a horse & buggy. The place is spotless and everything looks very new. It has everything you need. The woods and the path to the creek at the back of the cabin are great for kids - just watch out for ticks as I found one on me. We only wish we could have stayed longer but will do so in the future if possible. We would definitely recommend this to friends & family and have already done so.

We could not have been more happy with our stay at Sonshine Cabin. We have two young girls, ages 3 and 8, and this was the perfect "get back to nature" destination. The cabin itself was beautiful, and so nicely kept. It felt like we left the city, and walked into a fairy tale for a few days. We really couldn't have asked for more! The first night, I slept more soundly than I I have in months. (I think one car passed the whole day)

The owners of the cabin were very inviting, extremely helpful, and prompt with all responses and interactions.

If you are looking for a relaxing destination to get away from it all, I couldn't recommend Sonshine cabin any more highly.
