Great Location

Great location, right next to the cable car line that will take you to most of the major sites or connect to go elsewhere - real easy access to public transit if that's how you plan to get around. You're within walking distance to Chinatown and Downtown San Francisco. A nice surprise was a complementary bottle of wine waiting for you on the dining table when you arrive. The space was nice - reasonable for the price you pay and a good size for a couple. You could have up to 4 and still comfortable. Kitchen has all the basics. The shower/tub is a bit cramped, but it's an old school clawfoot tub as you can see from the photos, so you can't expect it to be too big. One draw back - the neighbors upstairs seem to have kids and you can hear the pitter patter of little feet during the day and some outbursts - nothing terrible, just turn up the volume a bit on the TV or your iPod/Phone and you can drown them out pretty much, but if you're looking for some peace and quiet you'll be disappointed. The city is expensive, so if you're looking for something reasonably priced, yet don't want to stay anywhere with the motel in the name, this is a great alternative.
