500 years after Ponce de Leon criss-crossed Florida in search of the Fountain of Youth, millions of people still flock to the Sunshine State every year to experience the rejuvenating warmth, picturesque scenery and never-ending summer lifestyle. Our spacious 1 bed/1 bath condo on St Pete Beach's intracoastal waterway provides a touch of all three, with accommodations that would leave Ponce de Leon drooling with jealousy.
Our condo is part of Sun Harbor, a quiet enclave of 20 condo units nestled against the intracoastal waterway in St Pete Beach. Fully renovated in 2007/2008, Sun Harbor still boasts the feeling of a new building, outfitted with prime wood flooring and all new appliances. Our kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, has everything the chef of your party needs to prepare the perfect vacation meal. Take dinner out back to the patio and dine al fresco, as native Floridians prefer. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, pack a lunch and walk across the street to St Pete Beach, TripAdvisor's #1 rated beach in America. Dig your toes into our fine white sand, and be sure to catch the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico; its a sight that never gets old.
Once you're ready to escape the heat and relax in the shade, retreat to our spacious living room, complete with a large wall-mounted HDTV. Cable and high-speed wifi internet are included with your stay. From the couch you can view the cove that sits behind the building, and, if you look hard enough, you may catch a glimpse of the dolphins and manatee that frequent the area.
After a long day of sun and fun, nothing sounds better than a good night's sleep. A king-sized bed awaits you in the bedroom, along with another tv for your viewing pleasure.
Alas, I have barely even touched upon all there is to do in St Pete Beach. We are famous for our gulf coast, yes, but a lot has developed since Ponce de Leon first graced our shores. Check out John's Pass, the beaches' premiere shopping/dining/entertainment complex, just a short drive north in Madeira Beach. Pass-a-Grille, with its historic business district and popular beachfront restaurants, is a few minutes to the south. 15 minutes inland is downtown St Petersburg, home of countless museums and art galleries, including the DalĂ museum and Chihuly glass exhibit, and a large waterfront park that stretches along Tampa Bay.
Come experience for yourself the magical environment that drew explorers to our shores, and go on your own modern Florida expedition. You don't know what you'll find until you try!
