A perfectly relaxing week!

My husband and I rented the condo for a week and absolutely loved it. The view was spectacular and the place was so private. This VRBO listing has two condos #402 and #502. We rented #502 which is the penthouse. There are 3 flights of stairs from the mezzanine - we viewed this as our stay in shape over the holiday program! The walk to town takes 10/15 minutes and is an easy and safe walk. The condo is very comfortable with a great cross breeze so it is always fresh and cool, the king size bed with the view was a real treat. The pool area was nice, perfectly maintined and private. The snorkeling in front of the building was awesome. I would highly recommend this condo without any hesitation. Gaby is great to work with as she is responsive and easy to contact. At first I was skeptical about transfering funds to a bank account to rent for the week but have no fear this is not an issue and the money tranfer to Wells Fargo worked well from our Canadian bank. Everything worked perfect - so rent this place, enjoy yourself and have no worries about anything! This was the most carefree and relaxing trip we have had in years and we travel often. This place is a real gem! Close to town but yet so quiet.

We just spent the holidays at this condominium and had a great time. The owners really are wonderful. I was worried about depositing money... but there were no problems. They were very attentive. The property is well maintained and safe.
This condo has an amazing view- especially from the master bedroom with the deluxe bed! I could have spent all day in the master but the ocean was calling and so we spent most of our day at the beach snorkeling or on dives. Amazing snorkeling there - who needs to dive!
The second bedroom could use a window but there was a fan to blow in fresh air.
The kitchen is very basic but we walk in to town (20 minutes) every night and enjoy the square and never cooked. There is a good frig, coffee pot and everything for soup or eggs. That is all we needed.
We had a great time and hope to rent here in the future.

Fell In Love With This Condo and Cozumel

What can I say! It's a dream come true. This was our 3rd visit to this condo. We love it so much that we brought other family members with us this time. It was perfect for our family. My grandkids keep asking when we are going back. The location on the island is fantastic. And the snorkeling right out the back of the condo...just amazing. I saw more variety of sea life than ever before...the water was so clear. The pool was great and the view from the balcony is incredible. Quite, relaxing and just what a vacation should be. Oscar does a spectacular job of keeping the pool the private beach area and everything clean and well maintained. Oscar even treated us with fresh coconut juice, right out of the coconut tree at the pool. And Laura the manager is so kind and helpful. I can't wait to return again. Cantamar is perfect and you won't find a better deal...especially on the ocean and the best location on the island. What a treat to have the best snorkeling on the island at the back of the condo. See you soon Cantamar Condo!!

Would rent again

The condo looks just like the pictures. The view of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. I enjoyed waking up in the morning and looking out over the ocean and seeing the cruise ships pass by. The man made beach area of the condo is very nice - nice lounge chairs and very well set up. The pool was nice but too cold to use...probably better in the summer. I really enjoyed snorkeling off the dock at the condo- the coral and fish were plentiful. The kitcen was very small and could be better stocked. One down side of this condo is that you must go up and down lots of stairs going to and from. Be ready for some exercise. But for the price/location and the view of the ocean - it's worth it. We really enjoyed staying there.

What a view!!!

The owners were great to work with. The veiw off the balcony was incredible. The condo is over all very large. The kitchen is small and sparsley stocked. The master bedroom has the great view and ocean breeze. The 2nd bedroom has no windows at all and had a musty odor.There is no sound barrier between the two bedrooms so take ear plugs if some one in your group snors.
Everything was nice and clean.Bring your own beach towels.The snorkeling is very good right in front of the hotel.The pool was beautiful but cold.The 3 flights of stairs got old.
You need to rent a car or take a Taxi to the center of town.We drove all around the island several days. The East side is uncrowded and has really nice beaches. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of town. Carlos and Charlie's is not our cup of tea.
The diving was superb. I highly reccomend Dive Choice for a personal, safe and well managed dive operation.The condo was a great deal for the price. I will stay there again.
