As the day dawns over Pine Channel and the spectacular sunrise greets you each morning it will be hard to decide where to have your first cup of coffee, the screened in porch or perhaps the 20 by 40 foot deck with your boat secured and ready for a day of fishing, diving/snorkeling or exploring the Atlantic and Gulf waters.

This Gulf front ground level home with deep water access is a perfect getaway for up to six people (2 per bedroom). Exceeding this limit without the owner's permission will cause immediate eviction and forfeiture of all funds. You can bring your kayak,(or use the one on site) hobie or windsurfer and enjoy the warm sunshine, tropical breezes and beautiful clean water right in your front yard.

Boating access is unsurpassed, only minutes to American Shoal and the reef with Looe Key Marine Sanctuary or if you prefer the back country, Contents Key and world class fly fishing are all nearby.

The L dock can handle up to two 22' boats and is equipped with a fish cleaning table. Kayak, available upon request, can be launched off the small sandy beach with inviting adirondack chairs and lobster pot cocktail table.

Tropically decorated, this three bedroom two bath house is uniquely designed. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and one bedroom has two twins. The whole house can be rented which is three bedrooms and two baths or if you have a smaller party of 2-4 guests then the master bedroom can be closed off and you can have the use of the 2 bedrooms and a shared bath. Each room possesses their own air conditioning unit.

The fully furnished kitchen has an icemaker on the refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, blender, and coffee maker. There is a CD player with surround sound. Stackable washer and dryer are in the bedroom closet for your convenience. Wireless internet service is included. Grocery shopping, marinas, boat rentals, video store and restaurants are

minutes away. Key West, a twenty-seven mile drive, offers unique shops, gourmet restaurants, exciting nighlife and a touch of history.

A wonderful location

My wife and I had the most wonderful 2 month stay at the conch cottage. The owners were simply the most helpful in answering our questions and making sure we had all that we needed. The property was clean and very well maintained. Every morning we could see the sun rise from our bedroom and were only steps from the ocean. The view was spectacular! We were close to excellent restaurants in big pine, marathon and key west. Little Palm Island is close by and Bahia Honda State Park is only a short drive away. If you enjoy the water, sunsets, kayaking,walking and biking in a very quiet place we highly recommend the cottage. I know our intention is to stay again at this wonderful location.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

happy days!!

We recently stayed here and just loved it!!!!! We have been coming to the lower keys for many years and this house has been the best of any where we had stayed. The house is nicely decorated and clean. Has everything you need to cook and is very spacious. We were one of two families that stayed together and we had lots of room. The location is great for boating and fishing. Very easy to get in and out. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks in the bayou/lagoon. The owners were fabulous to work with and very friendly. We will definitely be renting this house from now on when we come down.

Precious Memories, Beautiful Accommodations, Outstanding View

My husband and I stayed at the Gladding compound with our grown children and grandchildren. Words can not describe the joy, the beautiful surroundings and fantastic memories we all made. Our grandchildren keep asking when we can go back. The accommodations are wonderful, more than spacious and comfortable as well as, very classy neat and clean. We loved it! The owners are great people to work with. Very fair, kind and accommodating. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who values quality and appreciates ocean views. There were endless things to do... boating, swimming with the dolphins, local shopping and a short drive to Key West. And don't forget the sun!
Our whole family has ranked this as one of the most memorable times of our lives. Lots of laughs and priceless memories. You won't be disappointed.
