Nashville Apartment Rental Photos and Description
1,000 sq ft, 1 bedrm suite, with 2 queen beds and a queen murphy bed in livingrm
Nestled in a quiet, wooded setting, “1078 Hideaway” is a large, lower-level suite (1,000 sq ft) with its own deck, covered parking, and private back entrance. (NOTE: The upper level suite is *NOT* rented out!)
The Hideaway is perfect for a romantic retreat, a 'Girls Shopping Weekend', or a family getaway! Downtown Nashville is less than one mile away, but you'll enjoy peaceful mornings on the deck, sipping coffee and watching the finch and hummingbird feeders. And in the evening, grab a sweater and gather around a bonfire in the fire pit (wood provided). Or pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy the warmth and convenience of the living room's gas log fireplace.
The “Hideaway” comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The living room has a large 48' HD TV with a Blu-ray DVD player, Dish Network, and free WiFi access. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, plus there's a gas grill just outside the door if you'd like to grill. The bedroom has two queen, pillow-top beds, while the living room has a pull-down Murphy bed (hidden in the wall) with a queen Tempur-Pedic mattress that allows for separate sleeping quarters.
And the Hideaway is kid friendly with a big yard, swing set, and clubhouse. Both adults and children will enjoy the outdoor games provided, including bocce ball, horseshoes, whiffle bat/ball, and more.
The Hideaway is less than one mile from downtown Nashville where you can spend the day shopping, browsing art galleries, and tasting the local cuisine. One mile to the east is Brown County State Park, with its hiking and biking trails, lakes, picnic areas, swimming pools, and horseback riding. Zip lines and the Salt Creek Golf Course are a quick, five minute drive from the house. And Columbus (and the Edinburgh Premium Outlets!!!) is only a 25 drive to the east. Lake Monroe and Bloomington (IU) are a short 30 minute drive to the west! There's lots close by to enjoy!
PLEASE NOTE: The upstairs level of the Hideaway is *NOT* rented out! It is the owner's suite. We are a quiet couple, but you may occasionally hear faint creaking of floors, footsteps, or voices from above when we are there.
There is a two night minimum stay, but we will consider a one night stay for last minute bookings.
And unlike other rental properties, we do NOT add extra fees when there are more than two guests!!!
Check in is at 4 pm, check out is at noon (we want you to enjoy the morning!). If the suite was unoccupied the night before, you are welcome to check in at noon. Contact the owner for details.
Ample pillows, towels, and linens are provided, however we do not provide daily maid services or guest meals.
Sorry, pets are not allowed. And NO SMOKING in the suite, although guests are welcome to smoke on the deck.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Relaxed and took in the peace and quiet at the Hideaway. The view from the front window was amazing… enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels, and leaves blowing by. The firepit was fun too! Great time, great house, very clean!!! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
We fell in love with Nashville and Brown County in 2010 and moved here the first chance we could! It was the best decision we ever made!!!
Nashville takes great pride in it's small town attraction, slower pace, and friendly people. It's truly a rare find in today's day and age! And '1078 Hideaway' reflects that same friendly, laid back feeling. Set way back off the road and surrounded by woods, the Hideway is the perfect spot to relax and getting away from it all. And when you're ready to start exploring Brown County, we're less than a mile from downtown Nashville's shops and restaurants and many area attractions, including the Brown County State Park and the Salt Creek Golf Course. Come join us and discover why Nashville is so special! We know you'll create many wonderful memories here and will be anxious to come back!
