3 bedrooms plus bonus room (see pics), 2 full baths, very comfortably sleeps 8

NOTE: 1078 HIDEAWAY IS NOT ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS AT THIS TIME.

Nestled in a private wooded setting, the newly remodeled “1078 Hideaway” is conveniently located 1 mile from Brown Co. State Park and Downtown Nashville. The kitchen is nicely equipped and an outdoor gas grill is also available. The living room offers 2 comfy leather couches and a large 48' HD TV with Blu-ray DVD player, Dish Network, and free Netflix movies. There are 3 bedrooms that sleep up to 6 (1 queen Tempur-Pedic , 1 queen pillow top, and 2 twin beds). All towels and linens provided. The main level has a full bath and there is a second full bath on the lower level. If you have more than 6 people in your group, there is a 16x24 ft bonus room on the lower level that offers a queen pillowtop bed, floor to ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, desk and sitting area with Dish TV, Blu-ray DVD, free Netflix and Wii. Bonus room can be added for an add'l $50 per night.

LOTS TO ENJOY!!!: You'll love the lush wooded setting and will enjoy peaceful mornings on the front porch, sipping coffee and watching the hummingbirds and finches. The Hideaway is kid friendly with a big yard, swingset, and clubhouse. Both adults and children will enjoy the outdoor games (in the front hall closet), including bocce balls, horseshoes, wiffle bat/ball, and more. And many guests commented on the hours of fun they've had around the backyard fire pit. Bring the whole family and enjoy Brown County!!

Only a mile to the west is downtown Nashville where you can spend the day shopping, browsing art galleries, and tasting the local cuisine. Down the road a mile to the east is Brown County State Park with its hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, swimming pool, and horseback riding. The Salt Creek Golf Course is a five minute drive from the house and Columbus (and the Edinburgh Premium Outlets!!!) is a quick 25 drive to the east. Lake Monroe and Bloomington (IU) are 30 mins to the west.

IMPORTANT!!!!!: Check in is at 3pm, but guests can check in at noon if the Hideaway was vacant the night before. Contact owner for details.

Downtown Nashville is home to dozens of specialty shops, quaint restaurants, and artist galleries, all within a three block radius. Also, two miles outside of downtown Nashville is the Salt Creek Golf Course and Brown County State Park, the largest state park in Indiana. This nationally known 15,696 acre facility offers camping, picnic areas, and miles of well-marked trails for horseback riders, hikers, and mountain bike trails.

This place is great! Clean and very up to date! The house is very confortable and cozy! The owners we're so accommodating !!! Has everything you might need if you forget something & more! Great getaway with the girls! Great value!

What a beautiful view!!!!

Relaxed and took in the peace and quiet at the Hideaway. The view from the front window was amazing… enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels, and leaves blowing by. The firepit was fun too! Great time, great house, very clean!!! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Staying at the Hideway this past weekend has been a real treat! Everything was perfect and just as described. On our very first day, we already agreed to rebook for next fall!!! Wow! What a wonderful weekend we just spent in the Hideaway! We love the updated, contemporary style of the home (the decor and color scheme are beautiful) and the treehouse, playset, and firepit provided hours of fun. The home smells fresh and very clean and is set way back from the road so that you feel like you are far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Seeing the deer dash across the front yard one morning was a highlight. A real treat!
