We fell in love with Nashville and Brown County in 2010 and moved here the first chance we could! It was the best decision we ever made!!!
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2011
Nashville takes great pride in it's small town attraction, slower pace, and friendly people. It's truly a rare find in today's day and age! And '1078 Hideaway' reflects that same friendly, laid back feeling. Set way back off the road and surrounded by woods, the Hideway is the perfect spot to relax and getting away from it all. And when you're ready to start exploring Brown County, we're less than a mile from downtown Nashville's shops and restaurants and many area attractions, including the Brown County State Park and the Salt Creek Golf Course. Come join us and discover why Nashville is so special! We know you'll create many wonderful memories here and will be anxious to come back!

Relaxed and took in the peace and quiet at the Hideaway. The view from the front window was amazing… enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels, and leaves blowing by. The firepit was fun too! Great time, great house, very clean!!! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
My husband and I wanted a place to stay while visiting our son for IU parent weekend and found this perfect luxury place for the price of an inexpensive hotel! Our son and we enjoyed getting away form the traffic of blooming without being too far away. We enjoyed the zip line experience nearby as well as the beautiful location. The owners are a pleasure to work with and have thought of EVERYTHING to make your experience the best! Pictures don't do this house justice. It's really like having two very spacious bedrooms at opposite ends of the house, because the living area closes off as the second bedroom area. The bathroom also being very spacious and out of the way. The cleanliness is immaculate and the bedding all top notch! Everything felt like luxury here! Our 19 year old son even loved staying here. Hope to make this an annual get-a-way spot for our family. Thanks for everything Gerri and Tim, you two are awesome!
We stayed here over fall break and were overwhelmed with how nice it was. Exceptionally clean, and bedding was the best we had ever slept in.
This place is great! Clean and very up to date! The house is very confortable and cozy! The owners we're so accommodating !!! Has everything you might need if you forget something & more! Great getaway with the girls! Great value!
What a wonderful "girl's" weekend!! The house was beautiful and equipped with everything. The location was perfect! We spent a morning hiking on a trail at the Brown County State Park and the afternoon shopping. The location was in between Nashville and the state park. What a pleasure it was to have coffee in the morning, sitting on the front porch and watching the yellow finches and humming birds. We will be coming back! It was wonderful!
My family and I have spent many weekends traveling usually staying in hotels. We decided to try something different this time and chose to stay in a vacation home. First of all the price to stay for three days/2 nights was less than a hotel, secondly the owners are extremely friendly and have really thought out what a visitor may need for their stay (more spices in the cupboard than most grocery stores), and finally the home and setting are amazing.
My family and I will definitley return for another visit. We have been telling all of our friends about this wonderful vacation home.
