Awesome views of San Francisco and the Bay in Sausaltio's Best neigborhood of fine homes and lovely weather. In addition, this property features Charming views of the picturesque hills surrounding the village of Sausalito. Features include Hardwood floors, crown moldings and large sliding glass doors that lead to outdoor living with Sunny, Southfacing views.

Amenities: a light and airy kitchen with 4 burner gas stove/oven, garbage disposal and full sized refrigerator, and microwave oven. Large Bedroom area with large closets: very light and open with views.

This property is located in a single family neighborhood of fine homes in the Best Weather area of Sausalito. It was built as a single family home with two other living units: very quiet and private on a safe and secure street.

Renting a car could be optional because it is located a short walking distance to all conveniences: just blocks to the waterfront, shops, the Golden Gate Market, Restaurants, The Golden Gate Ferry

Quiet Street Location: Located in a premiere neighborhood of beautiful homes that have views of San Francisco across the Bay.

The street is very quiet, secure and safe. Is not a through street to go to other locations so that it is very quiet and private.

Charming neighborhood: The Neighboring properties are custom built, unique, lovely and special. Features homes of very charming style and design.

Walk to the Waterfront Boardwalk and more: There are many designated paths that lead to all shops, restaurants, Ferry to San Francisco, and the Boardwalk/Waterfront boardwalk with picture postcard views of San Francisco, Angel island and the Bay.

Fine Restaurants abound and bayside dining is also a favorite pastime. Benches along the Boardwalk look out to all boating and marine activity on the Bay.

Friday evenings during the summer months features live music at the park next to the Ferry and an adjacent farmers market.

House was as it was listed, very nice accommodations. The view of the bay was wonderful, the area was very quiet and peaceful.. Sausalito is a wonderful town and the ferry to the city was very convenient.

Parking was really difficult the entire time we were there(Friday through Thursday) I would suggest not renting a car unless absolutely needed and if you do need a car make it a small one for easier parking. Could have used more towels, 4 bath towels for 6 nights was a little sparse for two adults. There was a laundry mat in town but not something I was interested in doing while I was on vacation.

The are lots of stairs, stairs from the street and then stairs inside the house. This was not an issue for us but I could see it would be for anyone with limitations. I would suggest keeping the stairs in mind when packing as it was a good workout to carry a 30 pound suitcase up all the stairs. However, the reward of the stairs was the outstanding view of the bay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway

October in Sausalito was absolutely wonderful

We had a beautiful view of San Francisco at all times - sunrises, nightlights, daytime views. We used the kitchen daily and had no trouble making what ever we wanted. Parking is always within a 3 minute walk depending on when you return from your journeys. we turned the heat off and used the down comforter. With the door open at night the area was still very quiet. We could have used more towels, and then again we never asked Maria for more. Lots of hot water for showers. You must climb stairs (25+) to get to this apartment - for us this was not a problem and one of us had back surgery 8 weeks ago. When you consider the view and the competition that goes for $400 a night, this is a real deal. Thanks Maria

This was a perfect vacation for us. The apartment's view is so fabulous we felt as if we could just sit and take in the bay and San Fran's skyline forever. Maria was really helpful with her local knowledge and contacts. The location was quite scenic and safe and the parking was not a problem. We read the reviews complaining about the hills and stairs which do exist, but for us it was a plus and we only used the car when we were going out of town. We walked to town for almost every meal and became so familiar with the shortcuts and hidden stairs that people began asking us for directions as if we were locals. Can't wait for our next trip.

Great stay in Sausalito

Had a wonderful stay in this property. It was exactly as advertised, clean, quaint and lovely, quiet, great views as pictured and convenient to main street, grocery and highway access. Owner was responsive to our needs. Parking is a bit congested on the street but this is true throughout Sausalito. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to couples looking to rejuvenate.

Everything was true from the reviews. Awesome views of the bay. Everything was very clean. My wife and I will be back. Great help from Maria. Perfect for two people. Very surprised how cool the temps are in June. All I can still say is AWESOME, we loved it.
