Neuse Breeze is new, comfortable and CLEAN. Conveniently located across the river from Camps Seagull and Seafare. Just a short ferry ride away to Oriental, the sailing capitol of North Carolina. The kitchen is fully stocked with every modern day convenience and an outside grill. Enjoy relaxing in a hammock, walking the beautifully landscaped grounds, or playing on our sandy beach. Swim, fish, kayak, go crabbing, have fun and leave the work to us. Enjoy fresh baked goods delivered right to your door the first and last day of your stay. We at Neuse Breeze pay attention to every detail, from the complimentary bottle of local wine and fresh fruit to the meticulously maintained grounds.

Neuse Breeze comes complete with a tandum kayak to navigate the numerous creeks and waterways off the Neuse River and marina. Acquaint yourself with the abundance of natural estuaries and wildlife. Watch the dolphins from your private patio.

Only a 25 minute drive and you can catch a ferry to Shackleford island and look for wild horses.

  • * Payment Terms
  • Advance payment of one half rent will hold a reservation. The balance must be received by owner at least thirty days before the reservation begins. For cancellations made sixty days before the first day of the reservation, all amounts paid will be refunded less a $50 fee. For cancellations later than thirty days before the reservation, refunds of advance rent payments will be made only if someone else rents the time that you had reserved. Your $200 deposit will be refunded to you within 30 days of your departure if you have not damaged the property.
  • Rent entire house which includes downstairs studio for an extra $200 a week. $300 peak (Sleeps 8 for entire house) $100 cleaning fee

    ***We are not smokers nor do we allow smoking in our home! So far as Pets are concerned; Dogs under 25 pounds are welcome at the desecration of the owner (with a paid pet fee) no Cats Please. This rental cottage is for family groups only. No teen or college groups; chaperoned or not, are permitted. No Parties, i.e. for Graduations or Weddings, etc. are permitted. Any questions? This was an amazing week for us. We arrived on my daughters 15th birthday to find an amazing birthday cake for her in the refrigerator. There was a bottle of local wine to greet us as well. It's those small details that I remember so well. The owners are just next door if anything is ever needed. They are very genuine. It was a pleasure meeting them and we are very thankful they opened their beautiful home up to us. The home itself was beautiful, very spacious, very clean and hosted an awesome view!! We can not wait to go back !!! Thank you !!!!!

We had such a relaxing time at this beautiful Home! It exceeded our expectations! The owners were very gracious and helpful with area activities! It is secluded for privacy but close to attractions! We couldn't have ask for a better vacation spot! We highly recommend this home! The fruit, bread and sparkling apple cider were a special touch as well! Thanks for a wonderful experience for our first trip to the outer banks! We enjoyed fishing and kayaking as well!

Fantastic Relaxing Getaway

Nuess Breeze is exactly as advertised; beautiful view, nicely equiped CLEAN home with everything you could ask for. My wife and I have rented homes all over the US and in Mexico - Nuess Breeze was the best equiped home we have stayed in. There was nothing missing form the comforts of home!

Glen and Marianne are polite, private and eager to please their guests without jeopardizing guest privacy.
With our 5 yr old son we enjoyed the kayaks, the beach, Atlantic Seafood Market, the sailboats, the ferry rides and the peace and quiet. The nesting wild Eagle a short paddle just around the bend was a pleasure to view each day. Paddling the kayaks amongst the stingrays and watching dolphins right off the beach was nearly surreal.

Marianne - your bread and wine selection was delicious and we cannot wait to try one of your famous cheesecakes when we return next year.

Glen - I enjoyed our conversations and appreciate your help with the kayaks and navigating the area.

The three of us look forward to seeing you again in 2014 - cheers!

This home is very well maintained. beautiful view. very comfy.property is tucked away so you have your own private beach on the river! So nice! would definately stay again!
