Premiere neighborhood/Walk to all attractions/ Safe/Secure/Private and Peaceful

The apartment is nice and clean. It is in a quiet part of the town. This being my first visit to Sausalito,
I had not realized how steeply graded some areas are. There is practically not way to walk to groceries store or coffee place or others shops. The parking is available on the street but if you are not in by 7 pm,
it will be hard to find a parking nearby. The view is not quite as seen in the photographs. The view for lower-level apartment is blocked by a tree and other buildings in front. It is the upper level apartment in the same building that you probably want to rent. Overall, and average expereince but then may be it is a good value for the rent charged. The manager of the property is nice and polite and helpful.
Being on a lower level with hardwood floors, you could hear footsteps from the upper floors but I heard it only once during 5 nights I stayed there.

The condo was fine and no significant complaints. However there was no futon (how it can advertise sleeping for 3 I do not know) and the only view from the porch was a tree. On the other hand, the queen bed was quite comfortable, the view of the bay/city from 100 yards down the road was ohmygod great, the place was clean and everything worked. Not a bad stay at all, just not what advertised.

My husband and I rented the apartment for a 3 night stay during our 10 year anniversary. Maria met us at the apartment and even allowed us to check in a little early so we could explore the city. The apartment was very clean, neat, and had everything we needed. Sausalito is a fantastic city to bike around in and we went over the Golden Gate Bridge several times during our stay and rode the ferry back to town. The apartment is located on some serious hills so be prepared to get your exercise! Maria allowed us to lock our bikes up on the balcony and it seemed like a very safe neighborhood.
