2013 Sundeck 2200DC boat rental on your own dock, Private Pool

Get ready to be enchanted by this lovely Cape Coral home for rent! Bayside is located in the Cape Coral Yacht Club area and offers excellent access to the Gulf of Mexico with its own boat rental included.

Tastefully decorated and fully equipped, this lovely three bedroom, three bath home house includes a surround sound stereo system, granite counter tops, and a fireplace in the master suite. The screened lanai and pool area overlook the large private dock on Cape Coral’s largest canal, the 300 foot wide Bimini Canal. It is not uncommon to see dolphins swimming by and a family of manatees has also been sighted on occasion! There is a resident blue heron and lots of boat traffic to make lounging poolside a constant source of entertainment.

Enjoy Cape Coral's tropical weather while lounging by the pool, exploring over 400 miles of canals or boating to dinner at one of the areas many on the water restaurants. This is the perfect place to escape and relax.

The Boat: The inclusion of your boat rental with your Cape Coral vacation is one of the most convenient features our Cape Coral home for rent offers.

Our licensed coast guard captain will arrive at 9 a.m. the morning after your arrival to go over the boat, the charts and the local knowledge you will need to enjoy your time on the water. The rental includes everything you need – from safety equipment to charts – and is designed to make your transition to the water as effortless as possible. While many experienced boaters enjoy our home, novices are pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is to get out and explore by boat.

Boaters’ only destinations include Picnic Island, Cayo Costa, and Cabbage Key. Other destinations our family enjoys include the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva and, of course, on-the-water dining. We even provide a special chart that includes all area restaurants with docks!

The Pool: Bayside features a private heated pool that faces west/southwest for the best sun exposure of the day. The pool is 14’ by 28’ and is fully enclosed. We provided two lounge chairs and a bistro table with seating for four. In addition, there is a barbecue grill and a bench with toy storage. We also provide beach towels and a outdoor towel rack.

The pool is professionally serviced each week.

Miscellaneous: Fishing

There are a couple of fishing poles and some fishing tackle at the Bayside Villa for the use of our guests. While you can catch a variety of fish right off the back dock with hot dogs, those more serious about the sport should ask our check out captain for guidance and you may want to bring your own gear.

Getting around in Cape Coral

A rental car is a must for most vacationers. Cape Coral is the largest city in Florida (land wise) and has over 400 miles of canals. This means that getting around on foot or by bike is not practical. That being said, I have to admit that we only left via the front door once during our first visit to Bayside Villa – to get groceries! The rest of the time we went everywhere by boat.

Area Airports

The closest airport is the Southwest Florida International airport - (airport code RSW) - Fort Myers. This is approximately 30 minutes away from Bayside. Other Florida airports our guests have used include Tampa (TPA), Miami (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL)

Cape Coral, Florida is a tropical paradise with more than 400 miles of canals to explore and enjoy. While Bayside is located in the Yacht Club area just a few minutes’ drive from the Yacht Club beach and pier and area shops, most of our guests prefer to enjoy the boat rental that is included with our Cape Coral home rental and use it to visit boater's only beaches and destinations.

There are also many area restaurants offering dockage for diners arriving by boat. There is really no better way to experience all that south west Florida has to offer than with a boat rental. We provide area maps, charts and an on-the-water dining guide for our guests' exclusive use during their stay. You can use the fishing equipment at the property to fish off the dock or ask our check out captain about great fishing spots!

While many Cape Coral vacation rentals offer canal access, Bayside provides convenience and economy by including your boat rental with this beautiful Yacht club villa.

    The rate listed is for two adults and up to four children under 18 years of age. Additional adults are $100 per week more.

    A refundable damage deposit of $1000 is required. Or you may purchase a property damage protection policy from HomeAway for $69.

    11% Florida tax will be added to the base rental rate.

    A 25% confirmation deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 45 days in advance of arrival.

    Boat check out / orientation cruise with licensed Coast Guard Captain (required by our insurance carrier) is $140, paid directly to the Captain. Renter must replace fuel used during operation of the boat.

    Cleaning fee at time of departure is $125, paid directly to the cleaning service.

    Rate includes $75/wk allowance electricity, more than adequate for normal usage

The 2200DC (Dual Captain’s helm chairs) is the latest Hurricane design and allows the Captain as well as the first mate to seat facing forward in side-by-side matching captain’s helm chairs with flip-up bolsters. The new deeper V-Hull design of the Sundeck 2200DC improves handling and overcomes large wakes easily and softly, while also improving fuel economy.   • The master bath is located at the far end of the master bedroom. It has a granite vanity with brushed nickel and brass fittings. The large shower enclose has double shower heads and plenty of room for two. The hall bath has a full tub with a shower. It’s vanity sink is the perfect place to get ready for a day of relaxation or a night on the town. The cabana bath in the third bedroom exits to the pool deck so swimmers can use the facilities and enter and exit the house without getting everything wet. The enclosed shower offers a rainwater shower head that is a relaxing way to begin and end your swim.

  • The master bedroom at Bayside, our Cape Coral home for rent, is spacious and wonderful. It has a king sized bed, night stands with lamps, a huge dresser with twelve drawers, a private bath (see description below), a walk-in closet, a book shelf filled with novels and books we love, a gas fireplace and a 32' flat screen TV. In addition, there is a roll top desk with chair. This desk, at the bank of rear facing windows, provides a lovely, restful view of the canal. It’s a great place to watch the boat traffic while you journal or use the property’s high-speed wireless connection to surf the internet on your own laptop. Its French doors exit onto the pool deck. The popular Florida “split bedroom” style means this room is across the house from the other bedrooms, making it a private retreat. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, large dresser, armoire, two night stands with lamps, chair, and 32 flat screen TV. It uses the hall bath. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a TV.

We spent a fab week at Bayside in early Jan. Traveling with 2 children we could find no faults with this home. We were inexperienced with speedboats, but a very patient Captain Ron went to great lenghths to explain all and to leave us confident. We were lucky to see a large pod of dolphin's on our first day out.(30-40) We saw dolphins on every trip after that! A well stocked kitchen was a great bonus. We also enjoyed the pool which was a perfect temperature. My kids enjoyed fishing from the dock using rods from the house while we sat watching them and the passing boats! Overall a very positive experience!!

We just had a wonderful relaxing vacation at this beautiful home. The neighborhood is very quiet, clean and friendly. we enjoyed the fantastic water views and the wonderful sunsets. The home is perfectly equipped and very clean. I especially loved the master bedroom with its extraordinary view over the canal and the boats going bye. Shampoo, soap, towels, beach towels etc. are at disposal, the home does not let any wishes open! Cpt Rick did a great job instructing us how to handle the boat. We drove up to Captiva Island, enjoyed the white beaches and were swimming in clear warm water of the gulf of Mexico. Everytime we saw wild birds, pelicans and lot of dolphins, who came very close to the boat. It was great! Very helpful were also all the maps and information provided by the owner. Grocerie-store Publix is very close (7min drive), where you find everything for the daily use. We enjoyed the Restaurant Sandy Hook on Pine Island, where we had delicious lobster. But most of the time we used the barbecue grill at home to barbecue steaks, chicken and fish. Our boys just loved the pool and spent most of the time at home in there, they had so much fun! This is the perfect place to be! Thank you, Tom!

another great two weeks

This was our second two week visit to Bayside. Everything was still great, in fact better! Tom is really looking after the house. Again this year we had many great days out on the boat.
The house is so comfortable for a family, you just slip straight into your holiday.
Lovely place, great organisation by Tom, we will be back again for more.

Perfect vacation At The Perfect Vacation Home

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this beautiful home is the perfect escape. When we opened the front door to the home we all experienced the "WOW" effect and it never wore off! It's quiet yacht club neighborhood location close to the islands and beaches provided fantastic water views and beautiful sunsets. On arrival the home was spotlessly cleaned, with towels, and all bath supplies. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for preparing dinner. Having the boat to experience the gulf islands and beaches made this a truly memorable holiday. We especially liked Cayo Costa, and North Captiva Island beaches, reachable by boat only, because we had miles of beach all to ourselves. We collected many beautiful shells from piles of shells we found on the beaches. We also enjoyed restaurants on Cabbage Key, Pine Island, and Estero beach that we found using the on the water dining guide supplied by the owner. Everywhere we saw abundant wildlife from Osprey with their nests built on piling over the water, to schools of Dolphin's, Manatees and fish of all types. Although we never got tired of having the white sand between our toes at these pristine beaches, it was nice to return home to Bayside at the end of the day to lounge by the pool and watch the sun set on another beautiful day on the water. This place was perfect and we highly recommend it.

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines dans cette villa. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée, très propre. Sa situation est parfaite car on rejoint très vite la mer.
On se sent rapidement chez soi : serviettes de plage, jouets pour les enfants, glacière, sacs de plage, épices, lessive,... rien ne manque.
La piscine a fait le bonheur de nos enfants. Nous avons vu des dauphins, des lamantins juste devant la maison.
La formation avec le capitaine Ron a été bien utile et nous a permis de maîtriser l'ascenseur à bateau et la navigation dans la mangrove.Là aussi nous avons vu de nombreux dauphins. Nos destinations préférées étaient l'île de Sanibel et lîle Pic Nic.
Pour les restaurants, nous avons testé ceux qui proposaient des menus sans gluten car notre fils est intolérant. Notre préféré est The Cow Island sur Sanibel, Outback à Cape Coral est très bien, pizza fusion et cheese burger in paradise à Fort Myers sont également très bons. Nous avons testé le brunch à la marina, excellent.
L'organisation de Tom ( le propriétaire) est formidable, tout a été parfaitement géré.
Si nous devons retourner en Floride, nous retournerons sans hésiter à Bayside.
