Poor Management

The home is in a great location but do be aware in summer months it is hot ( no AC ). The management company did a poor job overseeing the cabin. I wrote the management company before arriving to confirm the LP gas for the grill would be checked (full). I knew I would be arriving late in the evening and plan to grill dinner. Upon my arrival it was empty. I phoned the manager and she ask that I go fill the tank. I had just traveled for 12 hrs and refused, she said she would take care of it the next day. The next day I found it on the front porch, not even installed. This was the reason I emailed her one week early to check it upon my arrival. I also told her of greasy food that had been left on the deck attracting ants. Her reply, it was probably from the last guess. I ask why the cleaning service prior to my arrival did not clean it up, she stated they don't look over the entire property ( it was on the deck!).

Owner's Response: I am very sorry that this guest had a poor experience, I try very hard as the manager to accommodate my guests. My cleaner happened to forget to check the propane tank on this occasion but she now assures me she will check that each time. On the evening this guest called, I was out of the area, I offered to reimburse him for going to the grocery store just 1/2 a mile down the road to purchase a full tank. He declined that. I had a new propane tank at the rental by 8 am the next morning. I knocked and got no response and I thought it rude to walk on the deck to "install" it so I left it at the front door. Again, as the other reviews attest, I try very hard to make sure this rental is well stocked, clean and a pleasant place to stay.
