This cozy and charming cottage is the perfect lakeside retreat. It's right on the lake, has a gentle slope to the water with a beautiful view, and is located approximately 7 miles North of Hammondsport on the East side of Keuka Lake, near the town of Wayne. The cottage is in a quiet area, about ¼ mile off of the main road (Hwy 54).

Keuka Lake and the surrounding Finger Lakes area have a large number of wineries that are open for wine tastings, shopping, etc. There are several tours available in the area that take you to different wineries around the lake.

My friends and I enjoyed such a wonderful weekend at the cottage on Keuka Lake! The cottage was more charming than we could have possibly imagined. The views are amazing, and the location is calm and quiet. We all commented that it's exactly the sort of cottage we would love to own someday. We definitely plan to visit again!

I think the thing we loved the most is that there were pieces of vintage
awesomeness all throughout the cottage! Every time we thought we had seen
everything, we discovered a new little piece of charm. From the original kitchen
cabinets to the farmhouse sink to the owls on the fire grates to the little
school desk & chair tucked in a corner, everything spoke to our love of vintage &
antique things. We were also delighted to find a bookcase full of books in the master bedroom! The cottage was a perfect fit for me and my friends!

We would highly recommend planning a stay here to anyone who is considering it!

We found it odd that upon arrival we had to make up the beds. They were not already made up for us. After a long trip to get to the cabin that wasn't what we wanted. Moreover the beds were of different sizes; finding matching sheets was a chore. Several lamps did not operate because of burned out bulbs.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
Owner's Response: We are so sorry that you were disappointed by unmade beds. It has been our policy in the past not to have beds made up in advance as we are never quite sure what beds will be used, but we will get the family together and review our decision. We are also sorry about burned out light bulbs. It sounds as though our housekeepers need a heads up on this, and that we will do. Thanks for your review.

it was a perfect spot to spend a fun weekend

The weather was the only downfall of the weekend. the house was so charming and perfect for the
birthday surprise we had planned. The house was warm and very cozy and the weather really didn't matter. We hope to revisit it again soon.

A wonderful vacation

Our stay at your cottage was wonderful. The views were gorgeous, and the location was perfect - very centrally located on the lake, in a beautiful and quiet area, and still not too far from groceries and shopping. The house was very well maintained and has wonderful charm and history. I would absolutely recommend this cottage to friends and family, and I will be back next year! Thanks for an enjoyable and fun vacation.
