Within an easy and safe couple of hours of driving, visit numerous Mayan archeological sites scattered throughout the countryside, the famous Bacalar Lagoon, Cenote Azul, and Spanish fort. Drive to the Belize border, or visit the museums in Chetumal, or hire a small boat to take you on sea cruise thru the reefs from Xcalak to Chetumal Bay’s Bird Island. Drive north to take a guided tour into the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, or visit the bustling area of Tulum. Or just drive 20 minutes into our quaint town of Mahahual for relaxing fun and food.
