This Florida vacation home located on a beautiful lake in North Florida is just what you are looking for! Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful vacation away from it all. This 2800 square foot home is located on Cherry Lake, Madison County, Florida. Beautifully decorated with southern charm.

Enjoy the crystal clear waters of this spring-fed lake nestled in a very rural setting just two hours from Jacksonville. Cherry Lake is ideal for swimming, skiing, tubing, jet skis, and fishing. Large mouth bass and fresh water trout are plentiful in Cherry Lake.

The lake is ideal for water sports as well. It is approximately a mile in diameter, almost a perfect circle in shape with a total of about 500 acres. This home has its own private dock. There are two bedrooms with a king-size bed in each. The third bedroom has two queen beds and the fourth bedroom has two double beds. There is an additional room with two twins and a small room with one twin. In the evening enjoy a marshmallow roast or a campfire sing-along in the outdoor campfire area.

If theme park fun is what you are looking for, Wild Adventures is just 20 minutes away. This has got to be North Florida and South Georgia's best-kept secret. No long lines and something to do for the entire family, at a great value. With a variety of roller-coasters, shows and wildlife.

About The Owner

My husband and I have three wonderful children. We love our time at the lake. It has become a family treasure to us.

The Owner purchased this house in 2003
Why The Owner chose Cherry Lake

I grew up spending summers at the lake with my family. These were priceless memories that we wanted for our children.

What makes this house unique

Cherry Lake is a beautiful, spring fed lake. I like the fact that the water is clean and clear. Our children have learned to knee board, wake board and wake skate on the lake. Of course, tubing is an all time favorite for them, as well as all their friends who come to visit.

This is our second year here and all we can say is that it gets better every year. Thanks to Tina and Jim for sharing this wonderful lake home with us. We willl be back next year.
This home is wonderful for family and friends to relax and enjoy the lake and property. Our friends especially like the fire pit. The pictures for this home are great on the website, but you have to walk out the back door and look at the lake either in the early morning or at sunset to really appreciate the atmosphere this property has.
Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your home.

Beyond Amazing - Two thumbs up!!!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. The arrival and departure instructions were crystal clear. We were only there for a weekend (July 27-29, 2012), but we plan to make this a meeting place for a non-holiday family get together for our 4 children and their children. The house (especially the master baths) surpassed all of my expectations. The personal touches in the downstairs master suite brough back lots of memeories of my grandparents. Our two granddaughters loved the pool table and going up and down the stairs. The adults and the children thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the dock of the lake and watching the sun set. The only bad thing about the entire weekend was having to leave. Thank you, Tina, for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful home on Cherry Lake.

our family cherishes the memories we made at radloff retreat both this year and last year. the home is beautiful and very kid friendly. my boys (6 and 2) love the rope swing and play areas outside and the game room upstairs. the dock is huge and accomodates both our jetski and boat. we are avid boaters and enjoy pretty much all water sports - this is our perfect vacation each year. we don't want to leave!!! tina was wonderful about quick responses when we were trying to book around our crazy work/school schedules. i highly recommend this vacation rental. we plan to continue coming every year.

Great vacation spot

Our experience with Tina & this vacation home was wonderful. The house far exceeded our expectations. It provided all we needed except our food & some toiletries! The baths both up and down are huge and the sleeping accommodations fit our family of 13 well. We had campfires and s'mores each evening and enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the huge porch. Our kids enjoyed swimming & fishing on the dock and we were able to dock our boat. There are not enough pictures here to give one an accurate view of just what a beautiful place this really is. We are planning to return next year if the good Lord's willing. Our 3 year old said it best- I don't want to leave the lake house!

We could not have picked a more PERFECT home and homeowner to rent from! This place is just heavenly - from the beautiful furnishings, cyprus trees, to all the amenities in the yard (campfire, dock, swing, raft, wrap-around porch). The Radloffs are such gracious and accomodating hosts and you can tell by the love they put into their home. We had 3 families with us and every single person commented on how this was the best vacation ever. If you want to relax, have fun, get to know one another, and have a great time all the way around, rent here. No need to look anywhere else. Thank you so much - we will be back!
