GREAT LOCATION! Nestled overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the tall pines of the adjacent canyon, this charming, rustic 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is an escape to relaxation. Private driveway leads down to this Post Adobe home. Views of the ocean are numerous from the large windows in the living space, dining room and master bedroom.Wood burning fireplace in living room.. French doors open to a large deck overlooking the canyon.Patio furniture for dining outside and enjoying nature. Kitchen and entry way have stone tile floors, the rest of the house is hardwood knotty pine. Kitchen is large w/ sitting area and comes equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator, microwave/oven, dishwasher, stove cooktop w/ grill, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, napkins, glasses and other amenities. A queen pillow top bed in each bedroom. Master bedroom is equipped with large flat screen TV and view out a large window of ocean. Nearby is Point Lobos, and down the coast is Big Sur, (25 minutes) and 4 miles to downtown Carmel by the Sea.

Relax in living room while you look out at the view or enjoy a flat screen TV while lounging on the cozy overstuffed pillowed sofas. 500 thread count soft sheets on both beds. perfect rental for a Carmel-Big Sur vacation

My husband and I loved this house! It is easily large enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably, and had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Although the house is a little bit out of town, the grocery store is still really accessible by a short drive. The location was perfect for 17 mile drive, Carmel, Big Sur, Monterey, and wine tasting. The owner gave great recommendations and is very friendly and easy to work with throughout the rental process. Highly recommended!

Amazing place

Really loved the cottage, with its stunning views, and spacious, high-ceilinged rooms. This was the truly the best part of my family's stay in California. Very close to Point Lobos and Monterey Bay, and we had lots of things to do during the day. Wish we had stayed longer!

Wow, what can we say ... everything was picture perfect! The house was peaceful, elegantly decorated with a french country like rugged feel to it, had gorgeous views with plenty of sunshine, and had everything you could need. The owners were super friendly, very helpful with tips and left us with complete privacy but let us know they were available anytime we needed them. We would love to stay here again, given the chance. Thank you.

Gorgeous views with peace and quiet

This was a wonderful find - perfect for two couples. The views of the sunset and ocean and stars were spectacular. Everything is light - huge windows and white walls - basics are all covered, including wifi, TV;s and lovely remodelled bathrooms. The kitchen is a pleasure to be in and the deck that surrounds the view- side of the house (although its in a bit of disrepair) is just the spot for reading, sunbathing, bird watching or star gazing. We would go there again in a flash! Wonderful hosts met us and gave us a tour of the house - very warm and welcoming.
