Our recently renovated condo offers two bedrooms, two baths, and is just steps from the beach. Whether this is your first time to Maui, or a return trip, a hidden paradise awaits. Enjoy a morning stroll along the miles of sandy beach with gentle waves lapping. Then return to relax on the lanai overlooking the beautiful gardens and palm trees swaying in the warm Maui breeze. About Kathie and Manfred

Our first visit to Maui was back in 1995 and we remember coming off the plane and instantly experiencing the tropical floral scents and the warm island breeze.

We have been back many times and each time this is the place we relax the most and rejuvenate the most. How can you beat the sun, surf, sand and warm island atmosphere?

We selected Kihei and this area as it is centrally located to everything. You can walk to the beach, shops and restaurants all within a few minutes. We enjoy our morning walks on the beach...watching the turtles just off the beach and the whales breaching in the waters out in the bay.

Home away from home!

Well, where do we begin!? We had a fabulous time at this 'home away from home'. Right from the beginning, Kathie and Manfred were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I felt secure throughout the entire process and that means so much in today's world! This condo provided many advantages over a hotel, such as the many kitchen amenities and supplies, living supplies, pool and beach toys, beach towels, etc.! We never had to say... "I wish this condo had...", it had everything we needed. There was even local maps, books and entertainment guides. We were able to watch our favourite TV shows in the evenings, as we'll as check our emails, Facebook, and all other Internet networks and websites with the free Internet. All US and Canadian calls were free and this made it great for keeping in touch with friends and family at home. We also enjoyed visiting with other condo guests and locals at the pool and BBQ area. I wish I could have personally thanked Kathie and Manfred for sharing their home in paradise with us! THANK YOU!!!

This condo was a wonderful surprise. The pictures were accurate, beds comfy, well equiped/maintained. Our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) spent one week here, we had everything we wanted. A block to the beach, a beautiful pool and hot tub for a quiet evening swim, BBQ dinners by the pool, a grocery store around the block. A 5 minute drive takes you to surfboarding and snorkelling with turtles. Centrally located makes it a great base. I noticed on some reviews, people had complained about early noise from the grocery store but I found it a plus. All the boys(husband included) slept through it, but I would get up and spend the morning on the beach. A great way to start the day!!. Kathie and Manfred thank you for your home away from home.

Maui getaway

We were pleasantly surprised and appreciative of all the amneities that this condo's owners provide for their guests. The unit was totally stocked with all the kitchen gear we have in our own homes, lots of towels, facecloths, etc., even beach towels and a couple of chairs. Laundry facilities in same complex - easy access, excellent pool & hot tub, 2 clean barbecues with stove and fridge located beside them. We had perfect weather the entire 2 1/2 wks., just had to endure those trade winds at times. We anticipate on returning again next year, except for 3-4 wks. The hosts have a wonderful vacation home, Mahalo for sharing it with us ...
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great time!

hey kathie.. just got back this morning. We had a great time., loved the condo. At first we thought it might be abit far out of the way.. but after a few days we figured out it was perfect. Thanks for all the extras, you can definately tell you took the time to plan out your place (very organized) The early mornings were nice at the beach near your condo(drink my coffee and relax) and evenings with the patio door open to let the warm breeze in. My kids loved your place, my little nephew would say "holy cow" everytime he walked in the front door LOL Only complaint i have is that the door to the main bathroom wouldn't lock properly and people would get walked in on. lol kids never knock! I will definately recommend your place to other families, thanks for letting us stay, carla

I did notice the early trash pickup also, was noisy. Got me up earlier, which wasn't a bad thing .
