This apartment was fantastic! It is located in Montreal's Plateau area which is one of the nicest parts of the city. The location of the apartment is half a block from Prince Arthur which is a very happening spot on the weekends. Right between Boulevard St. Laurent and Rue St. Denis, you have the best places in Montreal at your fingertips.
The apartment was as clean and beautiful as it is in the pictures. Dany was wonderful and very easy to reach. He was very patient with my questions and always responded within minutes. There is a lock code to get in, but I took the key everywhere I went as Dany suggested as a precaution, however I never needed to use it. This is a third floor unit and the outside steps are steep, however they didn't pose a problem for me. There is a balcony with a table and chairs which would be a nice place to sit in the summer when it is warm.
The apartment was very modern, the beds very comfortable and it was equipped with some supplies such as spices, oils, etc. That was a nice perk.
There were plenty of brochures, restaurant recommendations, taxi numbers and maps for people who are not familiar with the city. Dany thought of everything!
There is a small supermarket on Prince Arthur, but if you want something bigger, the "Quatre Freres" supermarket on St. Laurent is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Also on St. Laurent: I recommend getting a smoked meat, or smoked sausage sandwich with sauerkraut at the "charucterie Hongroise" I also recommend a trip to Slovenia. Burger Royal is a nice Organic burger place to have lunch. Buy typical French cheeses, pates and other staples at "La Vieille Europe". Dollarama is a fun place to take the kids shopping (and it's fun for adults too!)
On Prince Arthur, I suggest trying "Le Square" restaurant. It is French BYOB restaurant right at the end of the block of the apartment.
On St. Denis: take your kids to the "Cat cafe". It is a fun little cafe where you can get a cup of coffee and pet the cats that roam free. There is also "Sushi St. Denis" which is all you can eat sushi. Delicious! "Express" is another amazing French restaurant, but you MUST make a reservation. This place is busy 7 nights a week! "Le Cafe Cherrier" also has amazing French food. If you want to try even more authentic French food, take a cab to "Au cinquieme peche" also located on Rue St. Denis. It is pretty far up and would be about a 30 minute walk if you are up to the challenge. Don
This apartment is truly a home away from home - it is comfortable, well appointed, nicely decorated and quiet. The location is perfect to experience Montreal, as it is very close to both Sherbrooke and McGill University, and a nice walk to Old Montreal. The two bedrooms are well separated, allowing for privacy for all. We have now stayed at this lovely place 3 times, and plan to stay again soon. Our son attends McGill, and lives a short distance away, making this place even more appealing to us. Dany, the owner is a very nice person, and has been very accommodating. We would highly recommend this place! :))
We were in town to visit my son who recently move to Montreal for a job. We drove up from Tennessee. We have been there before so we knew a little about the city. The apartment location was perfect. It was nice having 2 bedrooms and since there was also a cot in the closet my son stayed with us making it a nice family time. The kitchen was very nice and living room too. Felt like home. We found parking on the street past Prince Arthur on the left at end of street. (My son speaks fluent french so that helped) There were no restrictions there except Fridays for street cleaning. We took a day trip to Quebec and to our surprise we got the same spot again on our return!
Easy check in and out and easy to pay. Dany was very responsive and checked on us via email several times. Highly recommended. We hope to stay here again.
What a great apartment! It's super comfortable, spacious, and has a really well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. Dany answered every request quickly and the whole stay was a pleasure in a lovely part of Montréal. Thank you.

A Very Clean and spacious condo with comfortable beds that can accommodate 5 people easily. A kitchen with everything you need, and a nice new bathroom.
