SPACIOUS 5 BR W/ OUTDOOR HOT TUB, FIREPLACE, SCREENED-IN PORCH AND POOL TABLE

Our group of ten ladies had a delightful time at Vista House. We enjoyed the 5 bedrooms & baths, so we all had privacy, and enjoyed the living area & kitchen for lots of laughs & fun! Know we'll talk about our fun days for years to come. We used the indoor pool at the owners club -- a beautiful facility. The location just inside the Galena Territory is very convenient, easy to find, and an easy drive into Galena. The owner & cleaning staff were very helpful & co-operative. The pictures represent the house well. We definitely would stay at the house again! I had stayed there years ago & my sister stayed in the house this summer. We'd highly recommend it for a family, couples, or group of people.

My wife and I were married on 12/12/12 in Peoria, IL and we wanted to spend the weekend with some of our bridal party in Galena for our "mini-moon" (short Honeymoon - our REAL honeymoon will take place in 2013). Overall, we were very pleased with almost everything! I gave it 4 stars b/c there were a few things that weren't available, or that we thought would or should've been in the house. Overall, it was a nice, clean house for what we were looking for (my wife and I and 8 members of our bridal party).

The pictures pretty much show you almost everything the house has to offer. Some things are a little outdated, but for the weekend and what we paid - it was well worth the money. I was in contact with the property manager, Abby, several times before the weekend and she was very responsive and helpful. I appreciated her attention to detail. Everything is laid out in an email (or two) and the documents/welcome letter that she provides you. The rental process was smooth from start to finish.

Everyone LOVED the fact that they had a bathroom (big) in their bedroom. That was SO convenient. Two of them had whirlpool jacuzzi tubs, which was great. Our bedroom had a pretty decent sized flat screen t.v. and doors leading out to the hot tub. The walls are pretty thick in that you may be able to hear a little chatter outside; however, you can't hear anyone having a specific conversation.

Hot tub was hot - 104 degrees first night and about 100 degrees the second night. It fits 8 comfortably and 9 very tightly! :)

Grill worked great both nights. No problems there. We had plenty of "gas in the tank."

The house is almost the first one when you get into Galena Territory. It's off of the road so there isn't as much privacy as some may like. Also, the hot tub/three seasons room is about 30-40 yards from another house so you don't have 100% privacy.

We don't have kids but they had childproof things on our master suite door. They also had a crib, which was off in the corner.

For the price we paid we were happy. If you want an updated kitchen, floors, furniture, wall decor, appliances, etc. - then this isn't for you. But if you're fine with the fact that you're saving money and it's only a few days, stay here.

My bridal party loved it and we did too. Will we go back to this house? If we want to save money, yes. We'd like to make it an annual tradition and may "hop" around to different houses to see what else is out there! :)

Eight of us drove out for the weekend to golf the courses at Eagle Ridge. This house was perfect for eight guys. There is plenty of common area space and enough beds to fit us all comfortably. Pool table, hot tub, two flat screens...all around a great place. From booking to the checkout process, the house and rental company were very accommodating.
