4BR secluded getaway by Carters Lake with gameroom, wifi, hottub, fireplace!

CATAHOULA CABIN is a wonderfully relaxing home nestled in the mountainous hillsides of Carters Lake. Just a 5 to 10 minute stroll to the gorgeous lake shoreline along woodland path from the house, Carters Lake is an outdoor paradise for swimming, fishing and boating. Guests are allowed to swim and fish in Carters Lake at their own risk. A designated swimming beach at the Harris Branch Rec Area of Carters Lake is only a 10 minute drive from the cabin.

CATAHOULA CABIN is a complete lake getaway with 3 Queen bedrooms and an upstairs King Master Suite with tile bathroom, whirlpool jet bathtub and glass shower. A large comfortable living room with gas log fireplace, 37' Flat Screen TV with cable service and DVD player. The Kitchen is well stocked with a 4 person dining table and downstairs is a full size game room with pool table, darts, custom bar, flat screen TV, surround sound stereo and wifi. A 6-person therapeutic hot tub sits beside the house with views over the woodlands.

Just an 8 minute walk to Carters Lake shoreline from the cabin, and a short 5 minute drive to Harris Branch Recreation area with a sandy beach, picnic tables and more! Carters Lake embraces a spectacular tract of foothills scenery in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Its sparkling waters and rugged shoreline provide a beautiful surrounding for a variety of recreational opportunities which include camping, fishing, picnicking, boating, mountain biking and hunting. Carters Lake has 3200 surface acres, is more than 450 feet deep at the dam and is the tallest earthen dam east of Mississippi river. In addition to Carters Lake, anglers can fish the reregulation pool or Coosawattee River, only 10 minute drive from the Cabin. An active fish stocking program by the GA Department of Natural Resources along with native fish found in the lake provide diversity for anglers. Fish species include bass (largemouth, smallmouth, hybrid, stripped, spotted) crappie, walleye, bream, and catfish.

We were traveling young boys who thoroughly enjoyed playing in the forest and daily hikes to Carter's Lake. The setting was peaceful and serene...exactly what we were searching for. Nature's landing (Catahoula Cabin) surpassed our expectations and w recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, "back to nature" getaway.

A lot of bugs outside but that's what I should have expected being out in the woods. Nice cozy spot.

Awesome stay!

I was celebrating my 45th Birthday with some family and dear friends and what a great time we had, food, fun, laughter and a great time was had by all. We all echoed the only thing that we would have changed was to have the biggest t.v. in the game room upstairs in the living area! It was fantastic otherwise!

this cabin is amazing!!

we rented this cabin for a family getaway it was perfect for all 17 of us it was very clean,great location,plenty of space and the pictures did not do it justice it was beautiful we will definitley be going back...
