Photos and Description of the Cannes vacation apartment rental Suitable for families, groups of friends, elderly people

This 3 bed-roomed apartment is located on the first floor with lift of a 19th century building. It is large (85 sq mtrs), was refurbished in October 2007. Ceilings are high, each room has an original french door or long window. There are two balconies , one south facing, the other north facing. These features, combined with reversible air- conditiong ensure an airy, light filled comfortable apartment. All the bedrooms are large and can be used as twins or doubles. The living area is big and comfortable, the dining area has large table with seating for six. The main bathroom is large, there is a separate 2nd WC with shower. The kitchen has a ceramic topped cooker with full oven and grill. There is a washing machine, separate condenser dryer, dishwasher and multi-function microwave as well as the usual small kitchen appliances.

Apartment is located on Rue Hoche, a partially pedestrianised street in central Cannes, which is bustling with activity during the day but very quiet at night. There are a myriad of cafes, bistros and tea-shops on the street. The street is typically french with lots of small shops. Cannes main shopping area, Rue D'Antibes,is around the corner from the apartment. Le Suquet, the atmospheric oldtown, is a few minutes walk away. this area is home to hundreds of restaurants, offering meals to suit all tastes and pockets. Le Croisette, (promenade) is 50 metres from the apartment as is one of cannes public beaches. Two colourful daily food markets are only a short walk away. One of these doubles as an antque market on a Monday. Train & bus stations are minutes away.

Explore the Cote d'Azur: Cannes is an ideal base to do some exploring. Hop on the train to Monaco, Menton, even the Italian Riviera. For the serious walker there are a number of graded, sgnposted walks a short distance but another world away from sophisticated Cannes. Maybe you would prefer to relax on the beach, only 3 minutes away. You can avail of our 3 comfortable beach chairs & our 6 beach mats that are there for your use.

There are at least three golf courses within a 15 minute drive of the apartment. It is possible to swop the beach in cannes for skis in one of the ski resorts, a journey that takes 90 minutes from Nice by puplic transport. Very reasonable daily rates are available that include ski passes.

Beautiful apartment in fantastic location.

My wife, sister-in-law & 2 toddlers (17 & 32 months) stayed here in September 2009 & had a fantastic time. The description on web-site is 100% accurate. The apartment is large, elegant & was clean, well-maintained, etc with all mod-cons. The ladlady even provided travel-cot & high chair free of charge when she hear we had small kids. You are seconds from shops, bars, restauarants, etc & minutes from beach & railway (which runs all along coast with under-4 year olds free). I'd highly recommend this aprtment to people of all ages who want to see this part of France.

I spent a week in this apartment with a number of friends while attending a wedding in Cannes. It is spacious, clean and in a fantastic location. Only five minutes walk from the beach and close to plenty of restaurant and bars. I couldn't fault it.

Really an appartement to go for

The apartement is situated close to three attractive shoppingstreets, a few minutes away from the Croisette and the beach - in addition to temtping markets with fish. meat, cheeses and vegetables. Well-equipped kitchen, large rooms -- well cleaned and maintained -- and two small balconies gave value for the holiday-money for the entire family - two teenagers and two grown.ups. The "meet-and-greet"-service made an excellent welcome and a safe haven to turn to if something needed to be fixed during our stay. It is of course a little frightening to rent an appartement through internett, but the communication and business with the owner turned out to be highly professional and thrustworthy. We were so thrilled by the experience that we rushed to order the same appartement for our holiday next year - without hesitating after we've finished this year's! The only reason, by the way, not to tell friends about the appartement is the fear of competition when ordering for the years to come.

I stayed in this apartment for a week in June 08 with my partner and another couple.The location is perfect, great shops, restaurants and cafes outside your door.We spent most days at the beach which is only 3-4 mins walk from the apartment and there were beach chairs and a parasol in the apartment for our use which i thought was a nice touch.The property itself is absolutely beutiful and so spacious.It has lovely high ceilings and is tastefully decorated in french style with all mod cons.It was also very clean. There air conditioning system was great as the weather was really good while we were there.It als has 2 balconies and we ate our breakfast on one of them which looks out onto the bustling rue hoche.Cannes itself is a great destionation and we spent most of our time there as it has everything you need for a great holiday but it would also provides a great base for exploring the cote d'azur.I have recommended this property to friends and I will go back myself.
