A group of 6 of us stayed in Mary's home for 2 weeks and would like to thank her for her hospitality. The accommodation was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. It was very peaceful and the deer in the garden was a bonus! Everything about the house was as it was described and we would hope to return again in the future! Mary was very welcoming and made us feel right at home and we would not hesitate in recommending her home to a friend.
After spending 3 nights in the city in a Cole Valley Ap't, the five of us arrived at "Mary's Place" enthusiastic about the remainder of our 5 night stay. This was a family trip w/son, daughter,SIL hubby and myself.
This amazing woman manages to endear herself to you from moment#1......her home is fantastically comfortable and convenient.....in fact you just want to stay there and to heck w/venturing out. BUT we DID venture out and enjoyed every moment.
From Muir Woods to Point Reyes Lighthouse to Sonoma and Napa to visits w/friends in Mill Valley and Corte Madera AND falling in love w/Tiburon. Our last night at Mary's we celebrated 3 birthdays at CAPRICE in Tiburon.....try it, you'll love it.
Had our friends pop in to see the place and they were WOW'D also.
My family congratulated me for making such a KOOL rental decision. Her ceramis, her acquired artwork, her interesting books and periodicals ALL added to the ambiance.
Thank you much. Hugs & health.
We spent a long weekend here after a road trip from Los Angeles. It was a lovely, calm place to stay - near enough to Los Angeles and the Marin headlands to explore but peaceful enough to sleep well. The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We really liked the balcony overlooking the Bay with hummingbirds, jays and deer.
Mary was a very welcoming and discreet hostess. We left feeling refreshed. I would not hesitate to recommend this house and would stay there again.
Our family of 6 including 4 adult children were in Mill Valley for a wedding. This fabulous, tranquil and interesting home was perfect as our home base. We had easy access to everything we needed, including great trips to San Francisco, Tiburon, Berkeley and more. The house was really comfortable and clean. Mary was gracious and we felt as if we had been given a gift by being able to stay there. We hated to leave!
My family of five had a great, comfortable stay at this lovely Mill Valley home. The view is amazing, the house is quiet, but close to Sausalito and just 10 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge. We highly recommend this eclectic home to anyone who wants to be close to the city, but far enough away to quickly escape the city noise. Mary is a great host and made sure everything was great for our stay.
My family and I spent a whole month living in this cozy house, it is both, practical and beautiful. It has everything you need to relax and enjoy. It has a breathtaking view of San Francisco bay, it is surrounded by trees and neighborhood is very quiet. The owner is very warmth and helpful. We hope we can go back some day.
