Along the left bank of the Lot extends the medieval village of Sainte Eulalie d'Olt. In the Middle Ages, the town arises around a castle. This village called 'Castrum' (castle) originally was a fortress surrounded by walls, ditches and flanked by towers. The present castle, the village is built in the fifteenth century. Its doors are adorned with the arms of the Curières family (which stood at Ste-Eulalie 1205), its mullioned windows elegance compete with those of the Renaissance, which makes it almost face. It is distinguished by its corner that hides an elegant spiral staircase tower.

By taking a lane, you reach the main square of the church. The first church was erected in the center of the village, on a hill overlooking the Lot. Probably too antiquated, it was rebuilt and fortified in the eleventh S. from the twelfth century. During the restoration, it was discovered a stone altar called Deusdedit (tenth or early eleventh century.). This building recalls the famous abbey of Conques. It houses a reliquary bust of St. Thorn - two spines, certified true crown. This relic is paraded through the village, during the procession which takes place each year on the second Sunday of July.

At the foot of the cross in front of the church, All Saints 'Day takes place the famous auction' A Hen.

The plot behind the church you will find the boiler during the winter flood.

A walk is required through the streets and narrow winding streets to discover the turreted mansions of the sixteenth and seventeenth century., Houses with walls of stones, with or without studs, and slate roofs, many details art and architecture evoke the rich past of this small town.

You will notice the wood oven, the 'Moulin des Raynal', built in the eighteenth century. on the stream of the Serre, just before it flows into the Lot. Until 1954 the mill procured quality flour and walnut oil. Lovingly restored by its current owner, Mr. Alexander, the vertical wheel continues to punctuate the life of the flower village where you can stroll.
