VERANDAH HISTORIC TERRACE HOUSE

My husband and I stayed at The Verandah for a week. Without hesitation, I can say this was THE BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in. Debra and Denis have done an amazing job with this home. We felt welcome, comfortable, and, at the end of our week, we didn't want to go! They have gone out of their way to provide the best of everything. The kitchen is stocked. The linens are cozy and numerous. It is CLEAN! My husband had to work while we were there and he loved the desk set-up along with access to high-speed internet through a wi-fi connection. This place is as inspiring as the rest of Stratford. While there, the shutterbug in me went crazy taking photos of the surrounding garden and I was able to get writing done for a book I am working on. It is truly a sanctuary. With all the lovely art and knick knacks, it will take you a week to absorb how much love and care has gone into this home. Even without stopping to look at all the special touches, it is easy to *feel* it because it surrounds you and makes you feel blessed. Truly a special place. Now, add to all of that the fact that this VRBO is within walking distance of pretty much every theater, restaurant, and attraction in Stratford--it just doesn't get any better. We were sad to leave, heartbroken, really, and are already planning our next trip there.
