Great Escape!

My friend and I had a great girls weekend getaway at Hinkley Brook Cabin. The cabin was always warm to the perfect temperature, a nice welcome from the cold outside. Mary Ann and Bill have outfitted the cabin with perfect little touches including a variety of books and DVDs to enjoy and a towel heater. The town of Grafton was picturesque and was only a five minute walk down the road. Bring a flashlight if you're going to be walking back at night, it gets dark! Looking forward to returning.

Wonderful Cabin and a Wonderful Town!

What a great little cabin in a picturesque town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the amenities of the cabin. The kitchen had all that you would need. There were movies and games galore. And the bathroom was very nice as well. Plus the welcome that Mary Anne and Bill give is fantastic. We don't know if those cookies were homemade but we do know that we are still talking about them! We brought our 10 month old and the cabin was great for him. It probably wouldn't be for bigger kids but for the wee little ones it worked great. We loved our walk into town each morning for breakfast at Mack's Place and we absolutely loved the town of Grafton. If you are looking for a quaint, picture perfect Vermont town, this should be your destination!

Peaceful, comfortable hideaway

My stay in the cabin absolutely exceeded my expectations. The living space is very comfortable, full of lovely touches like a heated towel rack, nice snacks (including amazing cookies) waiting when we arrived, and a really great bed and bedding.

There are little built-in heaters throughout the cabin, and it's very well-insulated and stays quite warm on nights with a chill. It would certainly be very cozy in winter weather, too. My little dog LOVED the artificial fireplace/space heater unit.

This place is like a beautiful hotel suite relocated to a secluded, peaceful forest. The best of both worlds! Mary Ann and Bill - thanks so much, we will absolutely be coming back as soon as schedules allow.

Absolutely lovely!

We adored this cabin! It was just what we were looking for... a quiet weekend away, close to skiing, and a place where our city-living dog could enjoy nature for a weekend. The town of Grafton was charming. We ate at the Old Tavern for dinner one night which was relaxing to sit and eat near the fireplace. Mary Ann and Bill were such wonderful hosts. The cabin is impeccable down to the last detail. The local treats and wine that were left for us were greatly appreciated. They even thought of our pup and left treats for him too! Definitely looking forward to going back during other seasons, but at the very least will plan on going up to ski again next winter. (btw... very easy drive to Okemo Mtn)
