Anna Maria is the first of the barrier islands located along Florida's Gulf Coast. It is about 7 miles long and 1/2 a mile wide. It is known for beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunsets and a boat load of really nice people. The number one activity in the area is to DO NOTHING AND RELAX ON THE BEACH.
This charming BEACH HOUSE is tucked away on a VERY QUIET STREET in the sleepy north end of the Island. It is the 2ND HOUSE FROM THE BEACH with no roads to block access. If you open your bedroom window at night, the only sound will be the rolling surf on the beach. This is truly the BEST LOCATION on the Island.

The sand is like powdered sugar. It never gets hot on your feet because it is 99% PURE QUARTZ. The water is warm and shallow. The fishing is excellent. The SANDBAR RESTAURANT is a 5 minute stroll down the beach.
The unit is light and bright with a multitude of windows. Everything has been recently updated in a fun coastal decor featuring hand painted starfish on the walls. Originally from Minnesota, my husband and I moved to Anna Maria Island 8 years ago with our children to live the dream. That dream being, residing in a small beach community with pristine beaches and powdered sugar sand. Safe, quiet streets, and a great sense of community.

We purchased this home 100% because of it's location. The view out of each west facing window is breathtaking. The property is located on a quiet dead end street and is only a few steps to one of the most pristine beaches in the world.
The house is in a perfect location. The north part of the island is tranquil, with great restaurants within walking distance. The beach is literally steps away and is one of my favorite beaches. The house itself comes with everything you could need. My 3 year-old son loved the selection of indoor and beach toys provided.
We stayed here with another family and by the end of the trip we had all decided to come back to this house. We may have started an annual tradition.
This is a great house in a great location! The beach is gorgeous and just steps away. Excellent restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. You can park your car and never have to start it again until it is time to leave. The house is comfortable and immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. Stephanie responded within minutes when I emailed her a question. This has been our second year here for a mother/daughter getaway and we had a blast!
This rental has it all. Great location on a quiet street, brand new appliances and all the kitchen items you need. The owners also provided bikes, boozy boards, beach chairs and umbrellas along with towels and kids toys. Books to read and video games and movies too. You will love this place. Value is a 5 star too but app would not let me check that
Today is our last day at Seaside Sanctuary. . We are very sad to leave this immaculately clean property, which has an amazing, well stocked kitchen. It's steps to the beautiful, uncrowded beach, and a short walk to Pine Street and local restaurants. Stephanie is great to work with and very accommodating. Looking forward to returning in the future!
Our first trip to Anna Maria Island - we are sure to return! Not only is it quaint with trams, piers, shops and excellent restaurants - the beach is so close, CLEAN, and perfect for beach combing, strolling, swimming, sunning, reading, and gorgeous sunsets! (After getting groceries and our bearings, my vehicle didn't move for 4 days!)
The description of this property is accurate, along with the previous reviews of Toney and Michael V. Our family was a party of 6 adults (3 couples) and very comfortable in the home. Great layout. (Appreciated the on site laundry.) My trip back will be with grandchildren now........ as a saying on Stephanie's wall goes..... Beach your children well!
My family has been visiting Anna Maria Island since before I was born and I am over 60. We have always been partial to the northern part of the island for it's tranquility. The house is so well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen has not only anything one would need but high quality everything. You only need food! There is an overabundance of beach chairs, toys, and beach towels, not to mention bikes. No need to rent anything. We have NEVER seen anything that comes close. The owners genuinely want to do anything out of the ordinary to make your stay more pleasant. Very nice people. I have not found anything to ask for. Within the first day you truly feel at home. I have been spoiled with this rental and certainly plan to return every time I return
