South Facing Executive Villa with Golf Course View

This was to be not only my first trip to Florida but also my first Villa holiday and as such, I was a little anxious to say the least. Thankfully my concerns were not to be realised.

This is a wonderful Villa. I stayed with my partner and our four children and there was more than enough space to accommodate all of us and for us "grown ups" also to enjoy space of our own.

On arrival everything was in place and ready for our stay. The Villa was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated throughout in a pleasing neutral colour scheme. Everything had been thoughtfully provided to ensure our stay would be as comfortable and hassle free as it could be.

The Villa itself is located in a quiet cul de sac on the Hernando Oaks gated community, a mix of holiday Villas and residential properties. All the gardens were extremely well manicured and the properties beautifully maintained and the community itself offered a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The Villa itself backed onto the golf course where I enjoyed a rare opportunity of a relaxing glass of wine by the poolside whilst the children played happily in the heated pool and where I was often rewarded by the sight of golfers working hard on the fairway!

Brookesville itself, a mere few minutes drive away, offered many amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, Banks etc so we did not feel isolated and I did not have to spend my holiday cooking for 6!

I would heartily recommend this Villa for either a relaxing stay or alternatively, as we did, to visit the theme parks which were close enough but we were also far enough away to participate in other activities such as Homosassa Springs which was a joy for nature lovers as all of us were able to interact with indigenous wildlife and the enthusiasm of the volunteers who maintained the park was completely contagious!

Please book this Villa. I assure you, you will not be disappointed.

Before reading my review, i will share with you that i am a very fussy person. My husband and i were extremely comfortable in this beautiful home, it was the next best thing to being in our own home. The house was clean and very organised, we also had the pool heated which made swimming enjoyable. The owner was professional and pleasant to deal with i give this home 10 out of 10. We plan on a longer stay next year!

Just wanted to let you know what a lovely time we had on our holiday in your villa. We were very impressed with it and would definitely recommend it to others. I loved the fact that the pool area was not overlooked just so peaceful out there. Location was perfect as we had family just down the road, but for others the villa is close to plenty of supermarkets, restaurants. A little bit of travelling is needed if you want to go to parks, but having the right villa compensates for travelling. A big thank you to John and Lesley for the professional service given to us.
