Situated in a small hamlet you are in a perfect location for exploring Brittany. Just two minutes away is L'ile aux Pies (little islands in the combined waterways of the river Oust and Nantes-Brest canal). Here you can walk, climb, horseride, fish or cruise along the waterways, or enjoy a meal and a drink in the restaurant/bar.
The local village is 3 minutes drive away and contains a mini-market/butchers, a traditional boulangerie, and a restaurant/bar. Redon, our nearest major town, is just 10 minutes away. It is a town of waterways, with the Nantes-Brest canal crossing the river there, and has wonderful flower displays throughout the summer. Besides it's busy shopping centre Redon has many supermarkets and a traditional open-air market every Monday morning. The TGV railway links Redon with Waterloo and gives fast connections to Rennes, Paris and southern France.
The historic and picturesque town of Vannes is about 35 minutes away and offers extensive shopping opportunities. The southern coast of Brittany is 45 minutes away, and here you will find St. Nazaire and La Baule which boast extensive beaches and a very chic and inviting shopping area. Megalithic stones are a fascinating feature of Brittany and we are central for many sites, some of which can be found at Vannes, Carnac and at locally St.Just. Only 15 minutes in the car will find you in some absolutely beautiful villages, some of which have lakes suitable for swimming and windsurfing. A 9 hole golf course is 12 miles away and an international 18 hole course is 30 minutes drive away.
