The house is an historic village house at the end of a cul-de sac, two minutes walk from the beautiful square with local bars and shops, beautiful church and a Tuesday market. It has recently been restored retaining its original charm and character. There is a roof terrace overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains with steps leading down to a small courtyard. The village offers a sports centre with swimming pool and tennis court,and is only ifteen minutes from the sea, plenty of walks and golf,and within easy reach of the historic city of Palma.

Further details: This house offers the perfect escape from long winters in England for anyone interested in walking, exploring and bicycling with the benefit of blue skies guaranteed . There are markets everyday of the week in the surrounding villages and towns: Pollenca, Sa Pobla, Alcudia,Conseil, and Sineu. Palma is only twentyfive minutes away, and there is plenty to explore all over the island from Deia, Valdemossa, Lluc etc.The Spring offers almond blossom and wild flowers, and the summer provides guaranteed sun, and high temperatures. The house has three small double bedrooms - two upstairs, with bathroom, one downstairs with ensuite shower, (this leads onto courtyard). The sitting area has large open fireplace and dining area. The house has just been refurbished and all fixtures and fittings are new, and the kitchen is well equipped. Linen is provided, there is a washing machine, dishwasher and a weekly maid servic, if required.The terrace enjoys magnificent views of the Tramuntana mountai

Pollensa Golf Club is only a twenty minute drive away, beaches and mountain walks, and is an ideal retreat in the sun at low cost. Plenty to explore in all seasons:

The Pollensa Golf Club is open to non members and is 15 minutes away by car. The club's challenging 9 hole courses have been described as some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, with a clubhouse, a restaurant which also welcomes non-golfers, and a swimming pool. Clubs, trolleys and golf cars can be rented. Tuition can be arranged and there are regular tournaments.

The old house is nicely restored and furnished very charmingly. It is very well equipped so there is no need for dishwashing after each meal (besides there is an dishwashing machine). It is very calm with two exceptions: every at about 7 p.m. the dogs of the town start their barking concert which is sometimes annoying and twice on wednesdays we heard concerts from the museum nearby but that was excellent singer/songwriter stuff and we didn´t hesitate to join. People in Campanet were all very friendly. You will surely need a car (getting to the house or parking is quite an art, depends on the other parked cars but Campanet is not a usual holiday town) or at least a bike to get around. The owner is very helpfull and always gives quick response. I would recommend this property my best friends (but not the fat ones because of the narrow stair and toilet downstairs - giggle).
