The house is situated at the end of a cul-de sac, two minutes walk from the square with beautiful baroque

church, local bars/ restaurant. Small supermarket,bakery,chemist and a Tuesday market. It has recently been restored retaining its original charm and character. There is a roof terrace overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains with steps leading down to a small courtyard. The village offers a sports centre with swimming pool and tennis court,and is only fifteen minutes from the sea, plenty of walks and within easy reach of the historic city of Palma.

Further details: This house offers the perfect escape from long winters, and for anyone interested in walking, painting,exploring and bicycling with the benefit of blue skies guaranteed . There are markets everyday of the week in the surrounding villages and towns: Pollenca, Sa Pobla, Alcudia,Conseil, and Sineu. Palma is only twentyfive minutes away, and there is plenty to explore all over the island from Deia, Valdemossa, Lluc etc.The Spring offers almond blossom and wild flowers, and the summer provides guaranteed sun, and high temperatures.

The house has three small double bedrooms - two upstairs, with bathroom, one downstairs with ensuite shower, (this leads onto courtyard). The sitting area has large open fireplace and dining area. The house has just been refurbished and all fixtures and fittings are new, and the kitchen is well equipped.

There is wi-fi access, linen is provided, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and a weekly maid service, (if required).

Why Diana Collins chose Campanet Center

I was holidaying with a friend who had recently purchased a house in Campanet, and discovered that a colleague in the Antique business also owned a wonderful house on the outskirts of Campanet. At the time there was little available to buy, but my house was available in an unrestored state. I was immediately tempted to have a foot into this idyllic and magical island.

What makes this cottage unique

My house is one of the oldest in the village and I liked the history and character of it. It has spectacular views of the Tramuntana mountains, and has the advantage of being very close to the square.

A TOTAL GEM

We've had two family holidays in Diana's wonderful house in Campanet with our 2 children and we absolutely love it.

The house is tucked away down a very pretty street in the village and has exquisite views from the back over an olive grove and mountains beyond. Being there is immediately relaxing - it's quiet, calm and beautifully decorated. There's a shady terrace which is great for eating out on. The house is well equipped and comfortable - good internet connection, washing machine and dish-washer - and well furnished.

The village of Campanet is enchanting - it's in the heart of one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of Majorca and you can wonder up to the traditional square from the house in a few minutes, where there are good places to eat and drink. There's also a bakery, small supermarket and pharmacy.

This is a perfect base both for chilling out and for exploring.

Can't wait to go back - highly recommended!

A wonderful, quiet, restful delight!

Our family of six have had the most wonderful holiday here for three years in a row and are heading back for a fourth year this July. the cottage is beautifully neat, clean and charming. At the back is a lovely patio with superb views over the mountains. Mornings and evenings here are delightful. Two minutes' walk away is the village square which is a very relaxing place to sit for a coffee or a simple evening meal. The staff are very friendly and across the square is a very reasonably priced little supermarket with everything you need. Pollensa and Alcudia are only 20 minutes away and all the beautiful beaches. We have had a truly wonderful holiday each time and Diana is wonderful to deal with. Book this traditional cottage and you will never regret it!

What a great place!

We spent two weeks in Diana’s house this summer with our two kids – 2- and 4-years old. The house is absolutely amazing, furnished with an excellent taste creating an unique atmosphere. Breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening in the terrace with so beautiful views is an unforgettable experience. Campanet, a regular mallorcan village, is the best choice for everyone looking for the place far away from “zona turistica”. Listening goats bells from nearby olive fields we have recalled a book by Geral Durell “My family an other family” (although Mallorca is not Corfu…). The A/C would be helpful due to really hot August nights, but not critically necessarily. This is the place ideal for a wonderful holiday time and we can honestly recommend it… :)

Village house

Recently we arrived home after spending two weeks in this beautiful village house in Campanet. We very much appreciated the elegant yet simple way this cottage has been renovated. Although the house is now extremely comfortable we were delighted with the air of authenticity the owner has conveyed,choosing natural building materials and carefully chosen country furniture . For us the highlight was the terrace-stunning views over olive groves and orchards, looking towards the mountains.

Campanet is ideally situated for exploring Mallorca and yet. we were given an enjoyable taste of village life. visiting the tuesday market or sitting in the square in front of the church, drinking cappucinos.

We found beaches only fifteen minutes away- our favourite Alcanada was very quiet and nearby there was an excellent restaurant right on the edge of the sea. We were always glad to return to the house in the evenings and eat on the terrace midst bougainvillea, hibiscus,plumbago and oleanders, listening to the tinkle of sheep bells below us and the distant sound of a dove ,which so reminded us of times in Africa. We were also fascinated by seeing the humming bird hawk moth pollinating the plumbago.A wonderfully restful fortnight.

SES CORTORADES

Calle Corterades..This February we visited Diana's lovely house for the third(I

think) time, and as usual enjoyed it enormously..It is comfortable, warm in

winter with it's radiators and open fire, and has all you could want for a

simple and cosy base in Mallorca. There are lovely views over the mountains from

the terrace, and for eating, especially in the summer months, there is a breeze

and an excellent table and chairs. A short stroll to the shops means it is not

necessary to drive anywhere for essentials, and there are two good bars which

provide a simple lunch "menu" if you are at home and don't want to cater. In

summer there is an excellent village swimming pool within easy distance, and

also tennis courts for the energetic..Camapanet,Buger Moscari and Caimari form

one of the more unspoilt areas in Mallorca, from which you can, if you want,

reach the action in Palma quite easily on the motorway..beaches are about 20

minutes away..For maximum enjoyment a car is a necessity though, as there are

lots of good things to see a little further away as well..A wonderful place for

a reenergising break!!

Excellent Hideaway

We stayed at this wonderful house for 10 days with our 2 year old and had a great time. The house itself is fabulous, exactly as described, and even without A/C it was nice an cool with 40° outside. We loved the terrace and the views, especially in the morning.

Campanet is a nice little town with very friendly people and our little one had great evening with all the other kids on the market square. He made friends there very easily and we enjoyed our diner even more.

You do need a car to get to the beaches or the mountains and parking is challenging at times, but overall we enjoyed every day we stayed at the house and in Campanet.

Campanet is an idyllic village with marvellous views just south of the Traumuntana Mountains. It remains a perfect area from which to explore the island. The village itself is local and unspoilt as yet by tourists. It is close to Palma ( a 30 minute drive ), and benefits from the square and church where the local festivals take place, or simply a place to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere.

The Caves of Campanet are magnificent and a local attraction.
