This home is cozy and comfortable and even has a very cool, enclosed outdoor shower which is part of the downstairs bedroom and bath. There is additional seating for eating in the kitchen at the island. Also, there are 2 outside picnic tables. Pet Friendly : We welcome pets and there is no restriction to size as long as they are well behaved. Kid Friendly : We welcome children, however the 2nd bedroom may not be suitable for very young children since it is not accessible through the main house - it is downstairs with a separate entrance. Older kids should love it. There is a sofa bed in the main living area that would work well for the younger children. Smoking Not Allowed : No smoking inside at all; if detected, it will cost you the security deposit.

Sweet retreat

LOVE this place. Perfect location, with all the amenities. Waking up to the sound of only the Ospreys, a true delight. The owners are really easy to work with, honest, and reliable. We are going to go back as often as possible, and are hoping to bring our extended family with us next year for our annual vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Nice and Quiet - very relaxing

Spent a long weekend at Palm Island property, place is small but quaint. Enjoyed the nice quiet canal and sitting out on the back porch watching the Osprey fly around. Had to use the golf cart to get to the beach, enjoyed the sunsets that were absolutely spectacular. Snorkeling, shelling, and finding sharks teeth were at its best. Seeing God in nature is the most beautiful and relaxing experience.

Perfect Getaway

We chose this rental for our getaway at home, only living about an hour north of the island my husband and I decided to take a mini vacation somewhere local. The island was fantastic and the house was perfect for us! We had a great stay and loved fishing off the dock!

Perfect!

This really is paradise found! The home couldn't be more comfortable & is just as the pictures represent. It isn't so fancy that you have to worry if you track in a little sand yet it is nice enough to make you want to sweep up any sand that comes in. Our Sophie (golden retreiver) loves the tiled section where she can cool off her tummy. The beach is wonderful. We have been taking the dog early when there are hardly any people there & then returning later to walk & look for shells. The shelling is spectacular & we've found lots of treasures. And the little restaurant "Rum Bay" has terrific pizza!! Our stay has been just perfect & we love the peace and quiet of island life. We would be more than happy to rent again and we'd be very comfortable returning to this little slice of paradise. In fact, we loved it so much that I wish I could say that we bought the lot next door...however....Thanks for all of the wonderful memories.

We stayed here and loved the cottage. Very quiet, clean, comfortable, and quaint. The boat drive in is very easy and is direct to the intercoastal. Best value on Palm Island. We will be back!
