Duck Creek Village has many flyfishing areas in its streams and lakes, and Navajo lake and/or Panguitch lake is within 30 minutes away.
UTAH SPORTS/MOTORSPORTS: Duck Creek Village is home to some of the best snowmobiling areas on the west coast. I have sledded from Fairview to West Yellowstone, and I rank Duck Creek right up there with the best of them. This past season (2010) we received over 20' of fresh Utah powder. Duck Creek has some of the best atv trails around, leading you several hundred miles of loops and interconnects. Duck Creek is also within 1 hour of Brianhead ski resort, for some excellent skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and mountainbiking. The Coral Pink sand dunes are within 45 minutes away, for all your offroad fun, and Lake Powell is home of some of the best watersports and fishing around.
I am retired from the Plumbing Contracting business in Las Vegas, Nevada. I purchased my first Cabin in Duck Creek Village in 2003, and fell in love with the area. I am an avid Snowmobiler, Motocrosser, and BMXer, and I use the mountain trails to stay in shape for all of my hobbys.
Doug Williams purchased this cabin in 2010

The cabin was great. Thanks for allowing us to stay here. Everything was close by and the wildlife was amazing, especially the Deer that visited nightly. Also.... The Sleeping Quarters cabin was great for our teenage twin girls that loved the privacy of basically having their own cabin for just them.
We loved our stay here with 2 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of space, a well-stocked kitchen, close to everything we wanted to do. The kids loved the hammocks and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. We fished Navajo lake, Duck Creek pond, enjoyed climbing through Mammoth Cave, and toured Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Excellent value, clean and comfortable, and the owner responded quickly to all our questions. We would definitely stay here again.
very homey feeling and have plenty of room for everyone even last minute company...kids loved the hammock and close to horseback ridding
At first glance, the outside of the cabin looked well kept and clean and I can say the same about the inside. The place had plenty of room and having two bathrooms was nice. It did get cold since we went there in May BUT the owner provided us with plenty of heaters to use. The kitchen was well equipped and the barbecue grill worked perfectly.
When we left, I forgot my favorite running shoes and the owner gladly sent them back to me. My friends and I would definitely try to go back to the cabin again, it was an awesome experience.
PS. The television was not high tech and it came with a VHS player, I actually enjoyed using the machine. Watching VHS movies brought back many great memories of my childhood. It made the place feel more cozy and homey.
We stayed at this cabin for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were 9 of us staying and it was very nice. The eating area sat 6 which was tight but expected as described in the description. The washer and dryer were nice to have. The dryer and microwave had a bit of an issue but I notified Doug and he said he would repair them. The dryer did work but was slow to dry. The location was ideal, nice and cool with thunderstorms in the afternoon. The drive time to Zion National Park was about an hour and a half, Bryce NP was about 1 hour and Cedar Breaks was about 30 minutes. All of them are must sees. Also worth a visit was Mammoth cave, about 20 minutes away, if you go in the barred cave expect to get muddy.
The sleeping cabin looked nice although we did not use it.
The garbage bins were hard to find but take a right out of the driveway go to the end, take a left, go to the end and take a right, They will be a few hundred yards down on the left.
The kitchen was also very well equipped.
Great stay, we loved Duck Creek Village and look forward to returning.
