Turtle Cottage has an uninterupted ocean view, with hammocks and loungers to while away your day. Walk our beautiful beach. swim in the turquoise sea, or chill in our 50' freshwater swimming pool. You can be as private or as sociable as you want. Just stroll to Carriearl Boutique Hotel for a wonderful meal or a pre-dinner cocktail, have a look at the website www.carriearl.com

Exercise: Enjoy an early morning bicycle ride, or a morning Kayaking to Petit Cay where you can snorkle or shell to your hearts content.

Fishing: Book a half or whole days Bone Fishing with the world renowned Percy Darville, Deep Sea fishing with his brother Joe, or diving with the other brother Jimmy. Or just go down to Flo's Conch Bar at Little Harbour, with them to enjoy the other brother, Chester's, wonderful cooking. Stop off at a deserted beach for a picnic and a beer, and a swim and snorkel.

Eating and Drinking: Just wander next door to 'Carriearl' for one of Dronzi' famous Rum Punches and some great British Hospitality. You can enjoy a full English Breakfast, something interesting for Lunch and treat yourself to a dinner to remember.

Enjoy a 20 minute stroll along the beach to the Beach Club for Breakfast or Lunch , experience a traditional Bahamian Dinner at Coolie Mae's, where you can have a sunset cocktail and Conch Fritters, or people watch at the The Pool Bar in the Marina. They do great grills and salads and you never know whose motor yacht might be visiting.

In Bullocks Harbour, the local village, there is Whitewater Grocery Store and Bar, Until Then, Local Restaurant and Bar, The Backside, late night Bar and Disco, Hottshotts Bar for Karioke and dancing.

You will fall in love with our special Island. Great Harbour Cay is the largest island in The Berry Islands. On the east coast is a wonderful stretch of the most beautiful and deserted beach you will find anywhere. You can walk for miles and not see another person, go shelling at Sand Dollar beach and swim in the amazing turquoise blue seas. Great Harbour Marina is one of the safest Hurricane Holes in the Bahamas and the fishing is amazing here. Our famous Percy Darville will give you a wonderful days Bone Fishing or you can just go picnic on an uninhabited island.

what a wonderful tranquil cottage - the views, the hospitality. Marty & Angie are just the best. Will CERTAINLY return - it is the best location imaginable.

An amazing location and wonderful place to stay at Gt. Harbour Cay. The cottage offers superb accommodation coupled with excellent location and topped with the friendly service and hospitality of the owners, Marty and Angie, you could not wish for anything more.

We will definitely be returning.
