We invite you to book a week (or more) at our penthouse - Palme d'Or, on the Island of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. The island, known as the Friendly Island, has a lot to offer couples or families. The vista from the penthouse is enchanting with a 310 degree radius thanks to separate balconies. The full-on view of the Caribbean, Cupecoy Beach, the comings and going of the finest cruise ships in the world, the best Island sunsets and four Islands within the near distance are just the start of your relaxing vacation.
The French side of the Island is just 1/8th of a mile from the Penthouse and offers fine beaches, dining and solitude, while the Dutch side is active with many casinos, shops and the thrill of Maho Beach with 747s and the Air France Airbus coming in for their landings just 35 to 40 feet overhead.
Common Area Living: This condominium penthouse is greater than 1,500 sq ft and along with the amenities already mentioned, it has washer/dryer access, a kitchen complete with china, flatware, glassware and standard appliances.
The great room has two settees and a queen size sofa bed, a side table and lamp along with a coffee table that matches one of the settees. There is a 42' flat screen TV with a DVD player and more than 60 DVDs available.

The Three Bedrooms: The Master BR Suite includes a private 'Sunrise' balcony, bath and a new Bassett king bed and dresser. There are two side tables and lamps as well. A DVD/TV is on the dresser.
The 'White Bedroom' is suited for a 'King' with all new Bassett suite, a king bed, side tables and lamps. When the two bedroom rental option is elected to earn the 20% discount, this is the bedroom that is 'locked out.'
The 'Queen Bedroom' has just been completely redone with handmade Teak furniture, a queen bed and direct access to the second full bathroom. The bathroom also has access from the main hall; however, that can be locked to give the guests in this bedroom privacy.
General information: Although smoking is not permitted in any part of the Tower, these two balconies do address that need.
As our property is on the Dutch side, the electrical systems are as we know them in the US & Canada.The currency is the Dutch Guilder which is pegged to the US dollar at $1.78 to $1.00; therefore, when you are in the market, although the pricing may seem 'steep,' it is likely in Gulders that will be converted at the register. The French side of the island is tied to the Euro, and that is presently $1.00 US to the Euro at $1.35. However, many restaurants offer dollar for euro parity when paying cash, keeping in mind that they may have 'tweaked' the menu pricing some to allow them to do that.
