Decorated with contemporary Asian and traditional Mexican furnishings, this stylish retreat offers a private get-a-way with a breathtaking view of the Bay. Spectacular sunsets, and sultry ocean breezes await your arrival. Conveniently located in the best part of old-town, there is no need for a car. Slip on your sandals and walk to the outstanding selection of ethnic and authentic Mexican restaurants, shopping, beaches, and night life.

The condo features a balcony with panoramic views, a full kitchen with black granite countertops, cable television, telephone, air conditioning, romantic lighting, king size bed with new posturepedic mattress, and travertine-tiled bathroom with jetted tub. The 24-unit complex has a manager, private deck and pool, bottled water, elevator and maid service 6 days a week (not on Sunday). Very secure and friendly to all. Call or email for updated calendar.

About The Owner

This is a photo of me in the courtyard of Posada Roger during my first visit to Puerto Vallarta in 1976. On a whim, I purchased this condo on the last day of my vacation in November, 1999. I remodeled the condo in a modern but multi-cultural style with mostly Mexican finishes and materials. I usually visit 3 or 4 times a year, and enjoy my home on the most beautiful beach in Puerto Vallarta.

Why The Owner chose Puerto Vallarta

This is a great location right above Los Muertos Beach, centrally located to the nightlife, restaurants, and beach live that most people associate with Puerto Vallarta. Also, it is a sentimental favorite, because I used to hang out at the old El Dorado Restaurant when I first started visited Vallarta 1976. The town has changed a lot in the 35 years since my first visit, but I never get tired of the beaches, the sunsets, the people, and the wonderful climate. Welcome to my home in paradise.

My partner and I have been to PV many times but have never stayed at El Dorado. We have found our new favorite! The condo is beautiful with an amazing front row seat to the best sunset in the world. Very affordable for the location and amenities...can't be beat!

402 is a superb hideaway where I was comforted with the vistas, cleanliness staff and friendly security of El Dorado Condominiums. The pictures are perfect, the bedroom ceiling fan with a wee bit of AC very adequate for September sleeping comfort, the living room banco and ceiling fan perfect for my daily siesta. I had the pool to myself each day, and gave a long day's business to a different beach-front restaurant/bar each day. Massages across the street were excellent, and as all Los Muertos devotees know, the location overall cannot be beat. Late summer storms are worth their weight in gold! Thank you, David!

Trying to plan again for next May!

I have lived in Puerto Vallarta, and stayed many different places but never one with such a great location! I was delighted when my fiancee and I walked in and saw this place. We stayed for close to 3 weeks and now when going back to PV to visit (until we move there permanently) I can't even think of staying in another location. We spent mornings sitting on the balcony watching the rays swim in the surf and reading and afternoons walking around downtown. I would recommend El Dorado to everyone!

Location, location, location.

Thanks for sharing your amazing condo with us. We stayed a week from March 24 until March 31, 2012 on our spring break. The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was in the perfect location for walking everywhere we wanted to go. We only had to take a taxi to and from the airport. We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We absolutely loved having our tea in front of the patio doors in the morning listening to and watching the waves. The mexican pottery dishes are a very nice touch. We felt completely safe in and out of the condo our entire trip. Gracious. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends wanting to visit Puerto Vallarta.

HARD TO BEAT

Just returned from a wonderfuil two week stay in this condo in the old town section of Puerto Vallarta. A beautiful view of the bay, including sunsets, dolphins swimming by and only steps from the beach or a few blocks to a wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Very secure, very friendly staff and a very clean building. The owner was very nice to do business with and provides excellent service.
Owner's Response: This client was exceptional. They repaired the kitchen sink drain during their stay, a first in ten years of renting this condo. I appreciate the positive review, and give them a 5 star review as clients. Thanks again.
