Beautifully appointed garden apartment features bedroom with king-sized bed, lots of closet space, full kitchen with stovetop, oven microwave/convection oven, coffee bar, double sink & refrigerator. Pots, pans, dishware and accessories all provided. Full bath with long vanity counter & bath/shower (All linens and towels provided.) The main room is spacious with sitting and dining areas. Enjoy satellite tv, dvd/video players, stereo, and air conditioned The sofa in the living room pulls out for additinal sleeping.
You'll enjoy full use of the backyard. It is nicely landscaped with a water pond and wrap-around deck. Gas- and charcoal- grills are available for use. Located on the 12th green of one of the area's best golf courses, the apartment and yard are serene. Fully fenced, it is also ideal for travelers with pets and/or small children. (Pets must be pre-approved by owner, however.) Check in at 2:30 p.m. Check-out at 11:00 a.m. unless special arrangements are made.

Saugatuck is a two year award-winner as one of the country's top ten artists communities and is nestled amidst the natural beauty of Lake Michigan and its dunes, as well as along the shores of the mouth of the Kalamazoo River. The resort area features lots of restaurants, shopping and attractions.

Why Ed Korson chose Saugatuck / Douglas
After adding the 2,600 ft addition, and the kids left home, I opted to covert 900-1,000 sq ft of space to rental apartment allowing a pet friendly (subject to approval, of course)property to the mix. Area has few properties which allow this, and goal was to offer this to tenants who want to enjoy their vacation with their four legged family members.

The guest who found this property through Home Away should never be allowed to rent anyone's property unless you do not care about breakage, absolute abuse to the apartment, and literally living like pigs. I have never seen anything like this before in 20 years. They should never be allowed to rent properties. The renter was William A. and Ann Marie S., They snuck in a guest and when it was discovered they claimed there was a lost email which was an absolute lie. There is breakage to appliances in the apartment, and never have I had any guest leave the apartment as if pigs had stayed for two weeks without supervision. I am totally shocked and these people should never be allowed to rent your property, that is if you care what it is treated like. The email used was firstname.lastname@example.org
