Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5+ Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

This is a very comfortable lakefront home located near the Ritz Carlton. You can watch the 4th of July fireworks just outside the short cove. There are several signature golf courses nearby, Great Waters, Reynolds Plantation, Reynolds Landing, Cuscowilla, Harbor Club just to name a few. You have several nearby restaurants you can go to by boat. Local restaurants include Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, Seafood and Steak house. You will want to visit the local towns in Historic downtown Greensboro, Madison and Eatonton. Grocery shopping made easy with Super Wal-Mart and Ingles in Madison and Publix and Ingles in Greensboro. Home is located in very peaceful subdivision ideal for walking. This property has it's own dock situated in a very peaceful cove - ideal for fishing.

Further Details: You are only a short distance from the infamous ''Sand Bar'' on Lake Oconee (a local boat gathering out in the middle of lake) Entertainment includes a scheduled band at a nearby restaurant, and a first class theater and boat rental.

Lovely home

We contacted Alice last minute to make arrangements and she could not have been more accommodating. The house is lovely, quiet and super clean. We have rented many properties through VRBO but this one felt the most like home and had everything we could have needed. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and catching fireflies! It really was a wonderful, too short, vacation! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Lakefront House

Alice was so accomodating to us considering our last minute rental with no deposit. We had a different house rented on Lanier which cancelled on the 14th due to plumbing issues. Alice's house is lovely and is in almost perfect condition. We really hated to leave. It did take a couple of days for my legs to get used to Mount Driveway for my walks with our pup Maggie. We will definitely stay again if we return to Lake Oconee.

What a wonderful lake house and location. My husband and I rented this house and we were very pleased with the accomodations. Our grown children came and spent time with us and we had a ball. The screened in porch is a fantastic place to just sit and relax and talk, hear the fish jumping in the cove. We took our boat and there is a nearby Marina to launch and then leave the boat tied up at the lake house dock in a cove. The house is very clean and decorated beautifully. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. You're close to Reynolds Plantation and Cuscowilla,shopping and grocery shopping. Downtown Greensboro is a wonderful little town. We ate at Yesterday's Cafe and I highly recommend the Buttermilk Pie! Greensboro is full of antique stores for those that love antiquing.

We rented this beautiful Lake House for a Girls Weekend Getaway for Fall Break in October! It is an amazing home on beautiful Lake Oconee. Shopping and Restaurants were close by. We could have sat on the screened in porch all day looking at the lake. We watched the ducks come up to the dock during the day and listened to the fish splash around at night. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group of girls! The home is decorated so pretty and everything was so clean and tidy. Everything we needed was at hand. We definitely will be coming back. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best...we give this place a 10 plus!!!! P.S. we even got a good signal for our cell phones and I-Phones which is a plus for us !
