Further Details: It also has an attached 3 level garage which was originally built to store an antique car and motorcycle collection. Strange, but true! Our family uses the giant garage for our RV and boat storage (no antique cars, unfortunately). The exterior of the building is a little funky due to the large 3 level garage space. In fact, we lovingly refer to it as the 'Big Blue House.' Despite the quirkiness of the outside, the place is surrounded by nature's beauty and an unbelievable view. Plus, we have made good use of the large garage inside and you can too if you choose to utilize the large game room on the 2nd level of the garage or if you are bringing a boat, RV, etc and need extra covered parking.
If you love nature, enjoy hiking, biking, boating/waterskiing, horseback riding, or feel the need to be surrounded by Mother Nature's beauty, this is a perfect place to refresh yourself through solace, outdoor activity or a combination of both.
We have built trails through the woods for mountain biking and hiking. You can walk down the short trail on our property to the edge of the mountain and see forever....Puget Sound, The Olympics, Beacon Hill in Seattle, Lake Washington, Mercer Island, and our secret little trail to view Mount Rainier.
This location is great for commuters. It is a short 25 minute drive to the airport or to downtown Seattle, with lots of alternate freeway and side road routes to reach your destination without enduring traffic congestion.
Our High Valley neighborhood has plenty of individuals and families who are working short-term for Boeing, Microsoft etc.. Conveniently, we live on the same street, just up the road from our rental property so we are close enough bring you most anything you might need to make your stay comfortable.
