Absolutely perfect beach vacation home!

Gone Gulfing could not have been better. We were three families who wanted to be close to the beach, but wanted the privacy offered at this wonderful, gated, resort-like home. We are a fairly discerning group who frequently stays at generally higher-end places when we travel. This home was by far one of the most well-appointed homes that we have enjoyed. Details that made it unique: A resort-like back yard with a (larger than we expected) heated pool and hot tub surrounded by plenty of exceptional seating and dining areas, a shed full of beach toys, great bikes (not rusted out beaters), a beach dollie for chairs, a great wheel barrel for toting stuff to the beach, a large area on the backside of the house where we projected concert DVDs from the pool area for our own dive-in theater, electrical outlets all over the back yard to accomodate plug-in boom boxes, lights, etc., a safety gate to keep the kids from wandering into the pool area and more. Inside the home were gadgets galore! Keurig coffee makers, Sonos internet radio, internet-connected TVs with Netflix, an Xbox with plenty of games, tons of family-ready DVDs, board games, blow-up Frontgate beds, incredibly soft linens and blankets, balconies off of each room, strong wi-fi (wireless) internet access, ample dresser storage for clothing and large closets, including a safe, exceptional dinnerware/cups/mugs/etc., large pantry, and more. I could go on and on. What we were not expecting is just how close we were to a great shopping area with a large, manicured grass field in it's center where the kids played ultimate frisbee, lacrosse and bocci. They rode their bikes there every day for the part of the day when we were not on the beach. The restaurants nearby (walking distance) had great live music and exceptional food. Overall, I could not have been any happier with the home. The owners were extremely accommodating, responsive when we needed them and have clearly paid careful attention to every detail and need of families traveling to the beach. Extremely well-done! We'll definitely be back. By the way, the video walk to the beach and all of the pictures were great!! Thanks Trudy for everything.
