Wonderful Stay in Siesta Key!

This house was perfect! My family (me, wife, and kids ages 6 and 3) and my in-laws rented this house for a week in March and it was wonderful. The description of the property was very accurate and the location to the beach was perfect. It was literally a 2-3 minute, 1-1/2 block walk from the front door of the house to the sand in your toes. In the garage of the house we found a very handy cart that we used to carry the provided beach chairs, beach umbrella, towels, and ice chest out to the beach. Outside there is a very nice heated pool and a gas grill which we cooked on for 3 dinners. The layout of the house was well thought out with the 2 garages, entryway, laundry room, and full bathroom downstairs, and then all the other living space upstairs. You could come in from the beach or pool, shower downstairs, and then head upstairs all clean to relax. The property was very well maintained and very clean. The owner John was very responsive by email and you could tell he had thought of everything a family would need for renting this house. The only downside the whole week was the weather turned a little cold towards the end of the week, but no worries, we just hung out in the heated pool those days.
Siesta Key is a nice beach town with a nice town square with restaurants and a little grocery store. You could walk to this town square from the house, but we drove there most of the time and finding a parking spot was a little bit of a challenge on some days, but we always found one eventually. The larger Publix grocery store was about 10 minutes away in Sarasota, over the bridge from the key.
I would absolutely rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach vacation!
