A Home away from Home in a breathtaking setting!

Our first trip to Tuscany was a memorable one.
We were hopeful that once we got there, the pictures and description of the property we selected on the internet would be accurate - well, they were more than accurate, we were taken aback by the splendid, breathtaking views. The place was immaculate, with all modern conveniences; peaceful surroundings and, we lucked out on the weather in May that was more like July weather. The location is also a short drive to many famous cities and you can do day trips easily (a car is a must). We were always happy to return at the end of the afternoon and sit on the terrace and take in the views of the vineyards that lay at our feet with a 180o "unobstructed" panomara. We had breakfast and dinner every single day we were there.
The owners were perfect hosts, without being intrusive; we were the ones who sought them out to have friendly conversations. They explained how they took three years to refurbish the old building now housing La Lucciola with magnificent results. We were totally thrilled with the place, so much so that, after a couple of days, my husband said, while barbecuing in the backyard looking out to the vineyards, "I'm going to sell my house in Canada and move HERE!" We hope you enjoy your stay at Country House Nazzano, and particularly at La Lucciola, as much as we did. We hope to return someday and can guarantee that you will not be disappointed in any way.
