An amazing dream week right on the Sound in a house we could really call home!

Our whole family came for our daughter's graduation from TESC, and this was the perfect place to be; close enough to town for the festivities, the farmers market, sightseeing, etc., but far enough away not to be bothered by traffic and the city bustle. You know you're on vacation when the big excitement of the day is watching the tide come in to touch the sea wall, seeing the geoduck barges go by, and keeping track of "Henry", the resident Great Blue Heron. We were able to host several sizable get togethers with family and friends, had campfires, walked on the beach, some even went clamming with great success! We saw all kinds of waterfowl, eagles, seals, and even some porpoise. The house was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Soaking in the hot tub overlooking the Sound was superb. Not sure if we'll ever need to return to Oly for any length of stay, but if we do, this will be our "Oly home".
