Cosy Winter Stay

I came out to this lovely converted barn in Water Mill with a friend who also brought his dog. We got some well needed rest and recreation, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We took long walks over by the golf course and beach in Sag Harbor as well as the Ocean Rd beach.

Despite being the off season and very cold we had a very nice time. When we got too cold to stay outside we went inside where the heating system kept the temperature at a comfortable 75 degrees and the fireplace provided some additional heat and ambience. While I spent most of my time reading there were also tons of TV channels, DVDs and an XBOX 360.

Beds where comfortable and upon our return to the city we were as rested as one can be. Overall I'm very satisfied with my stay and wouldn't mind coming back for the summer to see Hamptons in the summer and perhaps also get more use of the pool in the back.

Lovely Barn in Bridgehampton

My wfie and I stayed at this house the first week of August in 2011 and had an absolutely wonderful time. House is very convenient to all nearby beaches (7 min. to Ocean Rd., 10 mins. to Sagg Main, 10 mins. to Mecox), as well as the towns of Bridgehampton (<5 min. drive, ~10 mins. by bicycle) and Sag Harbor (~10-15 mins.).

Pool is a good size and exactly what you would want as an alternative to the beach. Lots of grounds and plenty of room to kick a soccer ball, play bocce or have friends over for an informal lawn party.

There's a well-stocked farmer's market across the street (literally) with huge stalks of basil (great value), fresh eggplant and zucchini for grilling and freshly baked bread. House matches descriptions and the online pictures throughout. Owners are very laid back but also very responsive and couldn't have been nicer. Overall, this house is a great place to unwind and spend a carefree week in the Hamptons! Would definitely go back again next summer.

We Loved this property!

As this was our first trip to Long Island, we were unsure of many things, so finding this property was a blessing to us as it gave us a wonderful place to use as our home base as we explored. We had a great trip and are looking forward to a repeat vacation! The owner was very nice and answered all our questions promptly, so that made everything pretty pleasant for us. The pool and grounds are wonderful, tho the weather kept us from enjoying them fully. We had sunny skies but chilly temps, so next time we'll be there during beach season.

Wonderful Rental in Mill Stone, NY

From August 15 - 22nd, my family and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at this rental. House is very comfortable and spacious. Close to Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton and many beaches. Country Market right next door was perfect. Pool was great and a nice option to the beach, kids loved it. Plenty of outside space for soccer, badminton etc. This house is in a perfect location for sight seeing, shopping, going to beach, restaurants. We would recommend this rental.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
