Disney Studio

I had a very nice stay and would recommend this studio/room if you'd like a hotel room at a good price. The owner was easy to deal with and responded quickly. This is actually a hotel room - not a condo or apartment. So there is no kitchen, but there is a microwave oven and fridge. There is also a breakfast provided in the hotel lobby each day, but the hours are limited to just 6-9am(weekends) and 7-9am (weekdays). There are not many options to choose from other than bread items, frozen waffles (that you can toast), juice, 2 types of mini donuts, 2 types of danish and coffee. And they promptly stop serving breakfast at 9am. If you'd prefer a nicer hot breakfast, right across the street is a Denny's and you can get 2 eggs, meat and pancakes for just $4 off their special menu. Tea or Coffee is another $2 (this is obviously where they make their profit :-). The hotel location is also excellent. Just a mile or so to Disney's Animal Kingdom. There are shuttles to the parks but I believe there is a charge and I saw that the Universal Studios shuttle only runs one bus per day so your stay is limited. The bus, however, saves you the $15 parking fee. The lobby of the hotel is very nice but be warned that there is no room service from the day you arrive till the day you leave. Although this room is within a hotel, it is serviced before you arrive and after you leave. If you run out of anything you can simply go to the front desk and the staff was nice enough to give me some extra soap since I was there for 10 days and the single mini bar did not last all 10 days. I'm not sure what would happen if you asked for a room clean or the beds to be made or extra towels during your stay (is there an extra charge?) but at home I reuse my towels and had no problem hanging them to dry and reusing them. The room comes with an iron and free internet access. Two Queen size beds are in the room and not much room beyond that - but it was fine for me.It is right off of Rt 192 and near to many restaurants, pharmacy, fuel and the Disney property. It was nice and clean when I arrived and the only issue I had was the front desk kept cancelling my room key (4 times!) so each night that I returned to my room my key did not work. I would then have to head to the front lobby to retrieve new ones. They said it was a mixup with the booking dates and were apologetic. I would certainly recommend this place if the price quoted is less than staying in a hotel, apartment or condo (it was for me).
