'Starboard Watch' is a quaint seaside cottage located 50 yards from the water. A comfortable porch offers a great view of boats entering and leaving Sakonnet Harbor, along with the coast of Newport in the distance. A swimming rock is 100 yards from the home and sandy beaches are a short walk. The well known Stone House restaurant is half a mile away.

The Sakonnet point area of Little Compton offers a beautiful setting for seaside relaxation and recreation. The Point is a common destination for road bikers and those simply out for a Sunday drive but limited access means the area is calm in the busy summer season, and very quiet and serene during the shoulder months.

Enjoy fishing off the rocky shoreline or harbor breakwater , or maybe just crabbing with your kids. Ride your bike; swim at the beach or off the rocks; walk 'the Loop'; or just chill on the porch with a good book. You wont find a more affordable elegant setting than Starboard Watch on Sakonnet Point.

Our group consisted of 8 people, from 2 yrs old to 83 yrs old, and the house fit us perfectly!! There was plenty of room to spread out! While some enjoyed just watching the boats on the water while sitting on the porch, others loved the space to run, play, and climb on the rocks around the yard and along the shore. The sunsets on the water were spectacular, the calming sounds of the waves washing on the rocks was soothing to fall asleep to, and the warmth of the fireplace took the chill out of the air when we needed it. Buck quickly answered any questions we had, and we had a lot, and made the arrangements to rent so easy using this web site. We would definitely rent this house again!!

This is the perfect vacation rental. Huge yard. beautiful sunrise and sunset. Very hard to tear yourself away from this house. great place to relax and have family get togethers. Very secluded. I would recommend this vacation rental and i would defiantely love to stay there again. 1 week is not long enough you need to stay at least 2 weeks because i can guarantee the first week you will not want to move off of the porch
