Stylish house with Air-Conditioning, Solarium and a large Pool Complex

This well-proportioned bright airy modern 3 story townhouse has a contemporary open plan lounge diner which is furnished with 2 sofas, coffee and occasional tables, a TV unit and a dining table. The spacious entrance hall leads into the lounge which has a large picture window that overlooks the front terrace. There is a flatscreen digital TV, free to air Sky satellite channels, Spanish digital channels and a DVD player, an i-pod/phone speaker dock, and a CD/radio player.

The fully fitted kitchen has wall and floor units containing an extensive range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, serving dishes, saucepans and utensils. There is a fridge freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven with extractor fan, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. All parts of the house have a selection of prints, mirrors and hangings. There is full cool and hot air-conditioning throughout the house for which we make no additional charge.

The large solarium rooftop gives stunning views of the surrounding countryside and has sun loungers, a barbecue and a wooden table and chairs for al fresco dining. The front terrace is a real suntrap and at the back there is a secluded kitchen patio with table and chairs. The large pool complex is open every day from 1 June - 15 September and exclusive to owners and guests. There is a large main pool and a children's pool plus toilets, changing facilities, sun loungers, terraces with wonderful views to Africa, and in peak time a kiosk selling cold drinks.

'The most spectacular of all Andalucía's pueblos blancos (white villages), the Moorish hilltop town of Vejer is unspoilt by tourism, with cobbled streets housing craft shops, flamenco bars and tapas restaurants and pretty squares from which to watch the sun set in the valley below.'

Our house is located in the famous and picturesque white town (pueblo blanco) of Vejer de la Frontera. The old town has great character within the narrow winding streets and there are many restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. Vejer is 200m above sea level and sits at the top of a rock with spectacular views from many vantage points around the town. Arab and Moorish influences are all around and it has been given the status of an Area of Historic and Artistic Interest.

You can have an extremely varied holiday staying in Vejer. As well as visiting the local historic buildings plus the many shops, bars and restaurants in the town you can drive to the beautiful sandy beaches of El Palmar, Los Canos de Meca, Barbate, Conil de la Frontera, Zahara de los Atunes and Tarifa, or head for the Natural Parks of Las Brenas and Marismas, play golf at the famous Montenmedio course and visit the pretty towns of Medina Sidonia, Alcalá de los Gazules and Arcos de la Frontera or cities of Cadiz, Jerez, Seville and Gibraltar. You can see the stunning roman ruins and award winning museum at Baelo Claudia which backs on to the beautiful sandy Bolonia beach where there is a very challenging sand dune to walk up if you are feeling fit. The reward at the top gives you wonderful views - and it's much easier coming down! This is a wonderful area for walkers with many trails taking you either along the famous Costa de la Luz coastline or inland through parks and villages.

Notes The Weekly Prices are for 6 guests. Prices for 7 or 8 guests are available and are based on the number of nights required.

Changeover day is totally flexible. Preferred arrival time is from 16.00 with departures by 10.00 but we will try and accommodate any special requests. Our local agent will meet you at the house, show you round & give you the keys.
We request a 20% deposit and the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival by bank transfer or Paypal. Prices can also be paid in UK pounds at the current Post Office rate. Bookings that cross over two different rates will be charged pro-rata.

Long term rentals and winter lets are available by separate arrangement. Please contact us for special monthly rates.

  • The Master Bedroom has a double bed, large built-in wardrobe with cupboards over, bedside cabinets, mirror and hair-dryer. Bedroom 2 has a large wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. Bedroom 3 has a wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. All the bedrooms are situated on the first floor and have a choice of sheets or four seasons duvets as preferred. There is also a 135cm sofa bed in the lounge on the ground floor. Good quality linen and towels are provided for each room. We also have a cot and high-chair available on request for a small charge.

At the top of the road are the main shops where you will find a chemist, Supersol supermarket, butcher, fishmonger, grocer, internet cafe, electrical store, mobile phone shops, banks and cash machines alongside many bars, cafes and restaurants.
