Self catering romantic hideaway for two

Self-catering was never like this! This stylish home for two was originally designed as an artists studio and if you have the inclination to take up a paint brush there are easels and drawing boards available. The views are magnificent summer or winter, looking west towards Drummond Hill and the Glen Lyon ranges. Light, modern and extremely comfortable this studio boasts a shower room with underfloor heating and large shower enclosure. The upstairs bedroom has a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, touch sensitive bedside lights and storage space. A modern fully equipped kitchen and large open plan living area with feature lighting, TV with DVD player, CD player and a lovely log burning stove will complete your romantic Scottish experience. Outside offers a generous patio and garden area with outdoor eating and barbeque, faces south-west to maximize your summer days.

Camserney is located in the Upper Tay Valley in Highland Perthshire, 3 miles west of Aberfeldy in a most picturesque setting, with views through to Drummond Hill the Glen Lyon hills and the Lawers range beyond. The area is ideal for outdoor activities, walking, golfing, rafting and mountain biking. The area is well served with fine restaurants and coffee shops. There is a variety of feature attractions including Dewars World of Whisky and a number of excellent art galleries catering for varying tastes. Aberfeldy boasts a range of independent shops. The beach at Kenmore is safe for bathing.

Rental Rates for this vacation chalet rental in Aberfeldy, Loch Tay and Glen Lyon, United Kingdom

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Through 2012 we take a minimum booking of 3 nights at £95.00 per night and £495.00 for one week.
    This includes all linen, towels and electricity etc..
    With the exception of Christmas and New Year 12 weeks which will cost £700 for the week or £100 per night with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
    A 50% deposit will secure your booking with the remaining balance to be paid four weeks prior to arrival.
    A returnable damage deposit of £75.00.

Bright and very comfortable cottage for two

A property which is designed and furnished to a very high standard. It is distinguised by lovely original works of art by the owner and her daughter . It is bright and clean as suggested by the website photos. The good quality BBQ was especially appreciated by two Australians far from home. Even though the chalet is co-located with the owner's home it feels quite private. Marjorie was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We would certainly recommend to couples seeking a romantic getaway. It is well located for the many beautiful walks in Perthshire.

Peace and tranquility with stunning views

We had a wonderful stay in this bright, airy and comfy studio. Its a perfect size for a couple and it really felt like a home from home. Marjorie is a great host with lots of information about the local area and always ready to give help when needed. We would thoroughly recommend it as great place to take a holiday.

A perfect romantic retreat

We stayed here in January 2009 as a brief escape from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh and were not disappointed. Marjorie our host was friendly and welcoming (a bottle of wine and roaring log fire greeted us on our arrival) and even though we were a short distance from the owners, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The scenery is stunning and is only a short drive from Aberfeldy and some amazing walking/hiking country. A perfect romantic retreat, with luxury facilities (heated bathroom floor with a view of the hills!), not too far from Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend for couples wanting a short break.

Just back from a short stay in this lovely lodge. It is bright, spacious, warm, clean and beautifully designed. Location is perfect for walking and visiting the many attractions in the area. Felt like a real treat being there!

Superb one bedroom holiday studio

Lovely well appointed holiday house for 2 people, clean, tidy and with views to the hills. Very light and spacious.
We are recommending this place to all our friends. Perfect for people who like to walk in the countryside and not too far from the next town. Very quiet and peaceful location.
Owners very friendly and helpful.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: It was lovely having Edith and Bert to stay, I feel I've made good friends and hope we'll see them again before too long.
They loved the Studio and enjoyed many long walks in the area. It's so nice when you make friends with like minded people who enjoy the beauty of our fabulous countryside.
